  • @Achtungworld1 I do like Elfman's original rendition for the 1989 film, but Walker's rendition like this one and the Mask of the Phantasm opening track are more to the roots of Batman as the first dark superhero/anti-hero. Dark, foreboding and showing that like Superman defends the daytime/light, Batman guards & defends the nighttime/dark. Hey, someone has to, right?

  • @finstrike7 also classic "dark" batman had no quams about offing and whacking foes and villians on a whim. So the villians who stayed like joker and the bunch had to be doublycruel AND clever. I remember once joker killed an entire boyscout troop with cotten candy poison

  • @kurlobe Indeed. And the he had to match their cruelty with his own ruthlessness. He never killed anyone, since that's one of the vows he took but Batman is not above injuring the villains and thugs he faces. And yeah, that is something Joker would do, wouldn't he? I didn't read the comics growing up, but I bet Batman would've broken all his limbs and his nose before sending him back to Arkham.

  • Wow, that was amazing!

  • Been looking for this everywhere. Finally got it!

  • AWESOMENESS

  • @TheManofConviction Thanks very much, I am happy that you liked it XD

  • @Achtungworld1 where did you get this?BTW the main title is by danny elfman not shirley walker

  • @ssssssssssssssssss50 you're half-right. danny elfman composed the original score, but shirley walker arranged it into this version.
