i have the same problem with my x7200 .now more than ever .. it's starts beeping ..and crash my warranty was expire cpple mths ago .. but it did this then too .. but not so much ..and i can not send to them .. so i'm going to send my laptop in a repair center .. what do u think?
@sbjnyc I'm sorry to hear that! They never actually fixed the problem - after continuing to send replacements that were dead on arrival, I had a two month long negotiation finally that resulted in a new replacement computer. They kept telling me they didn't understand my issue and had never seen it before, so at least you can use that against them. Good luck!

its also the problem of my laptop..and i think the problem is the fan..

this may be a blocked FAN... internally blocked... try exchanging the fans, specially the right one (GPU's), try blowing it hard
