What are you basing that off of? LeBron has a higher +/- then Kobe, he's also averaging more steals, blocks, and he's on a better defensive team then Kobe. If this is a year ago, yeah, I would agree with you on Kobe betting a better defender, but that simply isn't the case anymore. LeBron is, without question, the best perimeter defender in the game of basketball.

LeBron is already better then Kobe? And he's having arguably the best season of all-time. There isn't even a debate between Kobe and LeBron anymore, Kobe is great, but LeBron has separated himself, by a wide margin.

Kobe is more finesse and has better fundamentals. LeBron gets most of his points in the point while Kobe makes difficult shots and jump shots. He is a way better shooter than LeBron and his defense is about the same until
LeBron gets older when his athletic ability declines then he won't do as well. You know for a fact LeBron is only a better slasher than Kobe only for the fact he is more athletic. Kobe is still a great slasher and can do everything else better than LeBron.

Like you said, LeBron makes his living in the paint, but so does Kobe, unless he's playing good teams (like the Celtics) then it's impossible for to attack the rim. When teams zone up and trap Kobe, he's unable to get the rim, and he becomes a non-factor. Anybody who watched the Finals last year would agree with me. LeBron on the other hand took the Celtics to 7 games (with a far superior supporting cast)

Are you kidding me? Kobe doesn't make a living in the paint. Look at LeBron highlights comepared to Kobe. Kobe makes difficult jumpshots and was getting double-teamed in the finals and wasn't able to shoot. That is why he struggled. Not to mention bad calls in the finals. Like at LeBron highlights then Kobe, you know LeBron has a Lamar Odom shot that is no where near Kobes,

What exactly are you talking about? LeBron is shooting a higher percentage then Kobe this year, and he's shooting better from 3 in the clutch. If Kobe really was the best player in the game (or one of the best players ever) it would be impossible to completely shut him down, like the Celtics did in the Finals. The fact of the matter is, LeBron is to good at driving to the rim, passing, and defending to take him out of a game. LeBron > Kobe and it isn't even close.

ur an idiot. kobe is a better shooter period. better from the 3 and a better jump shooter. also a clutch free throw shooter and u can ask any nba analyst on tv and they'll tell u kobe. its fact. lebron is just more powerful in the paint. when he gets older he is going to be terrible because he relies on athletiscm too much.

People said the same thing about MJ when he was 24 years old. And then he developed a jump shot. Jordan was a 13% 3PT shooter when he was 24, LeBron is well ahead of that. (LeBron's jumper is WAY ahead of Jordan's, when they where both 24). And like I said earlier, LeBron's passing and rebounding ability alone would make him a terrific player (picture a better version of Deron Williams) IF he didn't have his athleticism.

if ur considering this season than dwayne wade has better stats than him in almost every category but rebounds, so wouldnt he be having one of the greatest seasons of all- time. Kobe isnt about stats anymore and everyone keeps on bragging on how he has so many assits well thats cause he almost plays like a point guard on their team every possesstion they always just give it to him to make something happen, while on the lakers kobe doesnt get the ball as often.

Wade doesn't have better stats then LeBron, even though he's averaging more of them. LeBron has been FAR more efficient per minute then Wade, and that's what actually matters.

One of the main reasons Kobe doesn't handle the ball as much as LeBron is, he isn't as good of a ball handler or passer then LeBron. If he possessed LeBron's playmaking ability, he would have the ball in his hands a LOT more then he already does.

not even close r u kidding me "lebron>kobe". k the reason lebron handles the ball is cause he doesnt have an good supporting cast around him so in order to win lebron has to do a lot more than kobe while on the lakers kobe can barely touch the ball and they can still win becaUSE of the weapons he has. and dont even tell me lebron has developed an amozing shot altready hes improved at 3 point shooting and thts all. he cannot make half of shots kobe makes one a gamely basis.

LeBron doesn't handle the ball THAT much more then Kobe. Mo Williams plays PG for the Cavs, and he ALWAYS has the ball in his hands, until the 4th quarter, then LeBron starts dominating the ball, and Kobe does the same thing with the Lakers. And one the main reason LeBron averages more assists a game then Kobe is, he's simply a better passer. LeBron (for my money) is the best passer in basketball, whereas Kobe is good passer, but he isn't great. (See the NBA Finals)

i just recently was watching them play and ya he mo williams does get the ball of the inbound but half of the time he ends up giving it to lebron. williams only has 4.0 assists per game it looks to me like lebron is playing point guard, k lebron could be a better passer than kobe but i wouldnt say the best in the league

And the same thing happens on the Lakers. Fisher usually walks the ball up the court, and then as soon as he gets up there, he usually gives the ball up to Kobe.
Could you then explain to me how Kobe is a better player then LeBron? LeBron (for my money) is a better scorer, playmaker, passer, defender, and he's better in the clutch then is Kobe. Plus, he's done FAR more with less talent around him, then Kobe ever has.

You're right except for defending and scoring. If you see Kobe's games he barely takes any shots. He could drop 60 anytime he wanted to. HE DOESN'T MISS. But Lebron will has more talent and will have a better career than Kobe at the end of both of theirs.

Kobe's clutch stats: PPG: 56.4 Reb: 9.2 Ast: 6.2 Blk: 0.0 Stl: 1.1 3PT: .423 FG%: .423 FT: 91%
So with the exception of PPG, and FT shooting, LeBron is DESTROYING Kobe in all other statistical category's. I should also note that Kobe is averaging 7.7 more shots in the clutch, so if LeBron was taking equal amount of shots as Kobe, he would probably be averaging around 70.0 PPG.

What are you basing that off of? LeBron has a higher +/- then Kobe, he's also averaging more steals, blocks, and he's on a better defensive team then Kobe. If this is a year ago, yeah, I would agree with you on Kobe betting a better defender, but that simply isn't the case anymore. LeBron is, without question, the best perimeter defender in the game of basketball.

k first perimeter defender is different than just playing someone man to man a whole game. meaning kobe will shut a player down 1vs 1 while lebron gets the stats by just playing defense. lebron is not the best defender in the nba, u say tht lebron is better than everyone at everything yet hes clearly not the standout alone best player in the nba, if he was he would be unstoppable , but u can stop him thts the thing so theres no way hes the best at everything.
