@codebleachgeass If you read the manga, right after he 'defeated Aizen and he was surrounded by everyone I believe Rukia said something about him reverting back to before he stopped in the precipice world before truly using his powers. That is why he isn't as powerful. He would need those 3 months of fighting Tensa Zangetsu in his inner world to become that strong again.

Bleach is far from epic, Tite Kubo has shown that he can create interesting stories (Soul Societ arc) but it seems after that some of his writing has been abit "wtf?", especially the whole KOing Aizen in 2 chapters.
