Personally, I think the original of this song, from the Dragonheart demo, is the best version. Listening to this, though, I realize that there's only one big issue with the newer versions, and that's the lyric change at the beginning. Winter sky was so much better.... "This land we have defended from all things dark and cruel" in Oblivion you defend Tamriel - specifically Cyrodiil - from Daedra, Necromancers, and so forth.

"In the land where dragons rule" It seems that Skyrim will feature dragons.

"Warriors of Forever" Sleep and nutrition are optional.

If i knew any more about the series i would perhaps have more.
