hinduism is the most complicated of religious bullshit to understand. ...I mean all religions are bullshit but hinduism is complicated bullshit heeehhheheeee.
I like the concept of Cosmos in this vid. its amazing. Matter is indestructible , there fromever for ever. God is infinite there fromever and forever. Only He shall remain , has ordered the Universe to expand and contract , and it follows it. He is only indestructible. He only remains, for ever and ever. Then why I am here? Why did he create me, or create this human being, ? from Bramha or from Adam?.Why?, I think He wants to give me a chance to see how much good I can do or not do.
i dont disbeleive christianity, but for me the diffrence between reading the bhaghavad gita or vedas and reading the bible is huge, the hindu texts explain so much more in detail, when i read the gita it was like someone switched the lights on,and filled me with love.
One can only have discussions on the Vedas if one is knowing complete knowledge of the Vedas. (not from the standpoint of any religion or spirituality - only from a completely pure neutral base). If comparing any other beliefs, debates can go on forever. Vedas is the true source of knowledge and let it stand as a gift a blessings from a source (what ever the source) it is giving to humanity for humanity sake.
rustegod, can you explain "open minded" in your comment. The fact is that the Indian history of the Mogul era recorded in history books is flawed and incorrect, therefore the general ignorance among Indians and other history students about the Sikh religion. In any case what has happened to the Indian knowledge of Vedic period? And in any case is the knowledge in the Vedas of Indian origin or extraterrestrial.? So I suggest you read the real history of Sikhs before coming to any conclusions.
Sikhs helped Sanata dharma in many ways ,especially during Auragazeb's rule.Sikhism is a great religion indeed.Your comment about Vedas not being known to people ,is true. And that is because of one simple reason.People who knew it,did not want to share it! And this is leading to the meaningless rituals we follow without knowing the reason behind any of those! And this has led to people from other faiths to convert Indians and why Indians (esp.youngsters) dont relate to this Dharma
Not to point fingers at any particular 'Varna'. every one has done mistakes and we are still doing it.I simply dont understand why we cant unite as a nation and fight corruption ,terrorism, poverty, education problems, false secularism, western mindset which is killing us like a slow poison..why?? If any one speaks for Sanatana Dharma is branded as a right wing activist and any one against it ,a secular ?We do not have a unique identity other than these great texts,But!
i am not arguing about that , akky88ful, vedas talk about Bhramah the creator of the universe - which is also true, but Guru Nanak talks about God as being Par-Bhramha, that is, BEYOND BHRAMHA. Hindus were a lost people, slaves of the Mughals, when Nanak started talking about the ONE TRUE GOD, a concept that was lost among the hindus of that time. Remember - JO NA HOTE GOBIND SINGH TO SUNNAT HOTI SABKI!
@bancilss Erm.You do realize the points you are making almost make no sense?Just in a view of a neutral.Sikhism is a religion so young even younger than any other religions let alone Hinduism. The hindus were never considered lost people because if that was the case then Vedas wouldn't have stated so many lessons that inspired scientists and other scholars. This shows how so not lost Hindus were back then.
@bancilss Let's all pretend that there's no teachings about Gods or whatsoever religious on the Vedas. The Vedas did prove and state other factual items like cosmology, maths and etc that even modern scientists deemed them right. So with that said,How lost can the Hindus be at that time without modern technology yet able to produce such results?I suggest you start reading and researching more about history,I mean real history rather than just the history of a modern religion,Sikhism. No offense.
@bancilss Be open-minded.As for I,I have prayed in temples, churches and mosques. For in the end,all Gods will lead to a creative energy.I suggest instead of trying to take credit of doings not of yours, you just worship whatever you feel like.Hinduism taught me that.To be honest,my respect of Sikhism have a gone a little thanks to you but I believe many others Sikhs can do me a favor better than you for your religion. And if Sikhism is not of your religion,I really hope you stop embarrassing it.
I think the occilating concept of cosmos with creation destruction and recreation is correct scientific concept and not accidently correct but found by observation by ancient seers of cosmos studies incorporated in Veda. That cosmos is timeless like cocept of soul or pure conciouness is justified by actual scientific observations. One concept is Hindusism itself is evolving and sanatan meaning everlasting
pickman03 - for your further instruction - I believe that that the ancient knowledge of the hindus was revived through Sikh gurus. A sikh (or Khalsa to be more specific) is a "Saint-Soldier". Ancient hindu sages often supported "long hair and beards".. But the essential difference is that Guru Nnak talks about God who is "Par-Braham" - that is above or beyond Bhramha - and as there are "millions of Brahamas" and "millions of Krishnas" therefore there are "millions of universes."
pickman03 - follow up to my earlier comment, - when 200 years after Nanak, Mughals started persecuting sikhs, Guru Gobind created the "Khalsa" - these were essentially hindus (possibly some muslims) who were prepared to fight to death for protection of the Hindu and sikh religions and people from the Mughals. After that the eldest son in Hindu often became a sikh to fight against the islamic terrorism of Mughal emperor Auranghzeb. Hinduism owes its existence to the sikhs (Khalsa) of Gobind Singh
pickman03 - don't get excited - like many Hindus, including likes of Gandhi , and others,- you do not understand why Sikh religion came about.. When guru Nanak (who was born a hindu) started preaching the "true way" to realise god, hindus were a lost people and slaves to the invading muslims.. Guru Nanak taught that we all are all equal and only follow different paths to the same goal. He incoporated teachings of hinduism and muslim saints and condemned superstitious rituals, caste system
ancient Indian text writers were scientists,,, if they hav written those thoughts just by imagining they r grreat ideas even u think from a atheist point of view...,, but without telescope without modern any ideas I always woder how they thought those ideas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! these things r not so easy to understand or think or explain..
@KSugavanam Brother this is just one of the many concepts of hinduism .... Hinduism = new ideas .....
One other fantastic and lesser known ideas of hinduism is (Which I like most and practically most possible )Atheist
---> With the creation of Universe, all matter was distributed in universe and all the GOD (consciousness) was distributed throughout universe (in living things) .... So existence of God now is highly unlikely ... etc etc etc ... long theory don't know all :(
Hey isn't this great ? No born-agains to complain and warn about Hinduism challenging their Christian understanding of the universe :-) Enjoy this thread before they find it :-)
Hinduism is not the only religion that holds these beliefs - SIKH religion does so too. Universe is created by Bramha, Vishnu(Krishna) looks after it, and Shiva eventually destroys it in each cycle. In the fifteen the century, Guru Nanak of the sikhs stated (recorded in the Granth, the holy book), that there are millions of universes, millions of Bramhas, Millions of Krishnas ans millions of Shivas.
@bancilss i am not arguing/retortig you. but shiva is not a destroyer, he is an annihilator. something which has started must end.. like a a fire has bin lit(brahma), the fire is burning(vishnu) and after the fuel runs out, the fire has to die out. no one has put off the fire. the force which puts of the fire "automatically" is shiva and not destryed, as misinterpreted by many.
@bancilss SIKH religion evolved out of Hinduism only about 400 years ago and there is nothing in it that is not already stated in Hinduism. I know some Sikhs don't like to accept that, but there are many who know this is true. All Sikh guru's were Hindus..just look at their names. None of them taught anything that wasn't already stated in Hinduism
This is the ancient scientific theory of Bharatians & this is correct. However, 98% Indians are not aware of it but the foolish Indians says, Ganesha is son of Shiva. In Vedas, the god is mythical figures: the god is formless & Image-less. The Brahma is the universe, the self created with atomic super explosion & along with Brahma trillions of Angis (stars) were created to provide energy to the universe. The super Nova is the Shiva, the destroyer of any universe or Sun (angi).

Well people have to understand
without destruction there is no creation
without evil there is no good
On a simpler note..
without men there are no women
without children there is no adult.
There is hidden truth in this
Make what of it you want.....
UNDERSTAND.
