The athletic model isn't actually lean so the clingy, shiny fabric is unflattering. Also, the advice to wear dark colours to slim you down is dated. Go for the right cuts and shapes and wear whatever colour you want! Beats an unflattering black outfit any day.

I am a chunkier girl with an hourglass shape, but wrap tops and dresses look HORRIBLE on me no matter what anyone says. Just sayin, that green dress was awful too.

Not helpful athletic figure dress... what were you thinking dressing her in that it makes her look so frumpy!!!! and you shouldnt put ruffles on a pear shape! Im pear shaped and we AVOID!!!! Ruffles on the hips only adds to the bulk!

No way, the green dress works from the waist up - but the long flair skirt NO. It's highly unflattering. You need a slimmer, thinner shorter skirt.
I think these people need to take more lessons on what's flattering. I don't think they get it. Jam/nie's dress looks hideous on her. Definitely not. The skirts are way too long. Like ugly dresses for mormons.

dark colors ... ok so you have to look sad all the time and you can't look lively/happy.. with your clothes that is... I'm sorry but this designer did an awful job i know she may have a web site and all but truthful i did not like the clothes and the dress on the second woman who came out with the black looked really bad and the dress totally puffed out all of her rolls really badly this woman who made the clothes needs to start watching some "what not to wear" and take down a few notes!

What the hell? Is this serious? It's all the opposite of flattering. I actually laughed when she showed her dress for the pearshape. She's totally emphasizing the hips with those ruffles, that's the first thing that attracts the eye. PEARS DON'T WANT THAT! Omg, this video was really frustrating.

What the hell? None of these dresses made these women's bodies look good. The fat bow on the hourglass's waist ruined it... The pencil looked horrible... The athletic women wasn't even athletic!!! She had a gut... And the tight dress emphasized that gut. And the pear actually made her hips look even bigger!

if you're pear shaped your hips are bigger than your boobs, so you have to avoid the ruffle skirts because it makes your hips look bigger. So your dress (the last one), is not for your body shape, dear :)
