  • It is a hollow tube, but you still want all the pressure you are pumping to get into the actual valve. It just ensures the seal so you don't have to try to chase down the high pressures!

  • What is the point of the tape? Isn't the zipp extender a hollow tube? If air was going to leak out wouldn't it just come out the top? Or is there some sort of valve built into the zipp extender?
