  • It's very humbling into 2days world, to find a talent like Ed's that hasn't been capitalsied to death for the sake of popularity and that evil money! I admire his ethics and more people should look at life wholelistically and be gratefull for what you have and cherish those you love and those that love you. Life is short, Ed's music is sweet enjoy it and if you get the fortune to see him say hi, leave some coins and absort the talent and pass on the creativity and positivity in such gloomy times

  • He can make a violin cry.

  • I'm about to find EVERY single one of Ed Alleyne's songs on youtube and favorite/like them all.

  • Best version I have heard on any instrument

  • He needs to be on every talk show and every concert and EVERYTHING in the ENTIRE. FLIPPIN'. WORLD.

  • That ONE person must have accidently hit the dislike button.. Then killed himself.

  • @skinnerplaysdrums haha =D

  • I don't untersdan't tho only guy who dislike Ed Allayne Johnson. He is the best !

    Hey any managers out there!!???????

  • Only a matter of time till this excellent musician covered Classical music, although, he plays anything beautifully! its just a pity that he isn't more acknowledged for the fine musician/composer he is! so refreshingto hear something ORIGINAL!! well done Ed Alleyne Johnson!

  • only if everyone could play an instrument like he can, truly remarkable

  • saw him busking in York yesterday. had to hang around for my sister for an hour but just listened to him, and he was amazing

  • This guy has alot more talent than guitarists like alexi laiho, mick thompson, kirk hammett and people like those three

  • Not to be rude or anything, really I'm not

But that is the stupidest thing regarding music I have ever heard

They are nothing alike. They both take a completely different skill to play and are different in strings, pitch, size, and way to play

I have played Violin for 14 years and guitar for 6 and have never compared or would compare the two to be the same

  • Guitar: 6 Strings

    Violin: 4

  • His has five, actually. He built it himself, the idea was to combine the standard pitches of a violin and a viola.

  • completely blown away from 0:1 to 4:40.. simply brilliant

  • at 2:30 he blew me away!

  • My son, a violin player himself, turned me on to Mr. Johnson's material, with the Ultraviolet cd. I'm blown away by the sound....

  • Thank you for providing this play list. I never tire of Mr Johnson's music. As other worldly as the late, GREAT Hilary Stagg.

  • este tio es la tremenda ostia !!

  • shame he was Chester's best ever busker!

  • El pibe es un capo. Vagamundo y con talento... parece salido de El señor de los anillos lol

  • Si es genial .... tiene un tremendo talento

  • All I got was "tremendous talent" And your right, he does have that.

  • @deidaraks

Are you Spanish? Because if so, "amor". I hope that's good grammar, haha

  • @deidaraks lo que dice mas o menos es "eso fue goud? ojo lambido cambia mucho". no, es broma lo que queria decir es que estuvo bueno y le gusto mucho

  • love it =)

  • I love how in the middle it boldly goes where no normal violin has gone before :P

  • you'd be surprised how much rock-ish gain and slides are used in violin. well, electric violin :p

  • I've seen him play this in York. Amazing.

  • Yes agreed ,Yorks gain and Chesters loss ,apparently a jobs worth in the local authority sent Ed packing because of the interest by the public and congestion problems .

  • very very nice!!

  • amazing

  • argh

    ed, how i love you.

still, i've seen him busking in York a couple of times, and so i've wandered up and told him he's awesome and sidled off again
