@surfsupdude62 trust me, I don't hate on surfers, being a bodyboarder I enjoy going with some of my friends who surf, is great to watch both surfing and bodyboarding. But in actuality it does take more balls to bodyboard, and unlike surfing, tricks on a bodyboard require the slightest change of weight, such as a simple 360, trust me if you have every bodyboarded, you would know, and you wouldn't hate.

I can resolve this, I bodyboard and surf. I find bodyboarding to be easier actually, but sometimes its more fun. I love doing both, so i dont hate on either. but bodyboarding is definitely easier. And yes, I do spins and flips and stuff. Surfing is harder mostly because of the drop in, when you have a bodyboard, you just kinda pedal and hold on, but surfing, you have to go from prone to standing up in a matter of a half a second, if you mess up, you're just gonna fall.

Surfers always love to talk shit because they stand up so they think bodyboarding must take no skill. Anyone ever see when Jamie O Brien entered the pipe contest on a bodyboard this last year? Ive seen tourist from utah with more skill on a bodyboard. Kainoa McGee went from pro bodyboarder to pro surfer in just 2 years. Most good bodyboarders can surf as well, we just love the sponge!
