Another one for You hardcore guys to check out is "Fear is the Key" starring Barry Newman (Vanishing Point) In this movie there is a car chase lasting at least 1/2 an hour, Newman is driving a '72 Gran Torino Sport with a 429
no 57 Plymouth from Christine, 73 Ford Falcon XB from Mad Max, 82 Trans AM (KITT, KARR) from Knight Rider, 67 Camaro Super Stocker from Eat My Dust, 70 Dodge Challenger R/T 440 from Vanishing Point, 55 Chevy 210/ 70 GTO Judge Ram Air IV from 2lane Blacktop, 68 Mustang GT 390/ 68 Dodge Charger from Bullit, 70 Dodge Charger R/T 440/ 68 Chevy Impala from Dirty mary Crazy Larry, 72 Pontiac Ventura from The Seven-Ups, 76 Trans Am/ 68 Chevy C10/ 76 Ford LTD from The Driver and more.
The Trans AmYou posted was not a 77 but more than likely an 79 or 80 my dad had a blue 80 T/A the turbo sucked and I question the General Lee as number one.allin all pretty cool tho.
@jdmccallen28 totally agree on the '55 chevy. it's the only car that i can recall being in two movies that were not connected to each other as it was in american graffti and two lane black top. the vanishing point challenger also needs mention plus the barris custom from fireball 500. i guess some people are real hot rodders and some people like cheesy cartoon cars.
Knight RIder gave you ten good cars to work with and none were added to the list? 1.)Knight Automated Roving Robot (KARR) 2.)Knight Industries Two Thousand (KITT) 3.)Knight Industries Three Thousand (KITT) 4.)Knight INdustries Four Thousand (KIFT) 5.)Knight Roformulation One(KRO) 6.)Kat 7.)Plato 8.)Domino 9.)Beast 10.Dante
These are great cars, but respectfully, not the greatest movie cars. Some are almost "obscure" I thought this was going to be about car MOVIE STARS---You missed the Bullit Mustang, Herbie, Kowalski Challenger, etc... On TV, (so many) KIT car, Starsky, Batmobile.... but, hey, it's your video. I like it.
missed 2 i think that proly would of been ahead of a few of those car green mustang in the Built, and 70 white Challenger in the original vanishing point
charger general lee numbre one, delorean time machine number two, mad max2 black interceptor number tree. knigth rider number four, the A-TEAM truck number five, the BJ truck number six...
how could the delorean be #10???? nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! lol.
at 1:40 it was not 77 trans am....

Don't feel bad, Americans, that Australia with less than 1/20th the population of you can still produce a few cars that outdo all of yours...
A pity the Holden Torana A9X never featured in any movies.
