Finally, I have been looking on youtube through video's of this song. Ya' know just to her some fresh voices that will eventually make it big... =D. Anyways, yeah, not taking anything away from anyone,but this was a lot(italicize) better than every single one I've seen so far. It could be better because there is always room for improvement, but not much better than already. It sounds great, and it's nice to know some one can stick to the simplicity of a song.

I think you should be on the Instant Karma cd rather than Greenday, they don't do too bad, but the singer doesnt have quite the uh "emotion" in his voice, its far less dynamic than yours very nice

This is one of my ALL TIME favorite Lennon songs! This song started a HUGE family fight too...lol I used to listen to it all time. Yes it was...and the whole idea of the song. Thank the powers that be that my Mom believed in the 1st Amendment and felt that we, as her children, should hear different views. She never censored what we watched or listened to even if it meant a family feud. WAY different these days! :-) We did discuss the issues that we saw or heard, and she felt we should be using our minds to develop our own individual thoughts.

Lennon was more political and voiced his opinions.  The Vietnam War was raging, and we were watching daily on TV. People taking to the streets, etc., trying to stop it. What a time to grow up in...not to mention the music was NEVER better than that time, in my opinion...:-)
