  • @Thebunnyist Right on man, I'm 20 for the record. Also, your completely right! Thats some self fulfilling prophecy shill that kid was sayin. "My generation sucks blah blah blah".... What a waste of time. Why not try and change it by I dont know... Not hating the world even if its imperfect. Thats some yin-yang feng shui stuff... Balance!

  • Anyone else notice the hanging balls?

  • @SOLOL3G3ND Me- - I found that pretty weird.Great song , though.

  • @SOLOL3G3ND yeah - a long time ago, i.e. in 1977......!!!! this was litterally the first album I ever purchased.

  • I don't understand this hype about mainstream/non-mainstream music and why it's a big deal. It's all music, and everyone has respective tastes in believing one is better than another.

Music is music, and the artist/band is just going to keep doing their thing, because it's what they love to do.

  • beautiful

  • legendary music

  • @HannahEatsBananuh

Your ignorant for saying that, and clearly 13 years young. Some of the most talented writing (not musical) ability has come out in hip hop in the last 20 years. No, our generation isn't a waste, and its attitudes like yours that make it seem that way. So pardon me for being blunt but your wrong, and the likes you got are from people that "love being different" like you. Think I dont like this music? Why did I come to this video....

  • @hairysox33 How right you are - even though I''m one who came of age in the late '70.s/early 80's, NO generation is a waste..........just in a different place than other generations....whatever the generation has to say, and in whatever way they say it, is just as valid/important as any other age group. We are all here for a reason......and our time, whatever it may be, has it's own purpose........it's all intertwined.

  • best album ever

  • Gratitude for writing this Fleetwood Mac - you are the eternal flame burning in my heart, the soundtrack to my life & i've been travelling along with you for a while.

It still sounds as good as the day I first heard it. Actually, even better if that;s possible.

  • im 2 years old and wish i were born in the 70's...The 1770s, that was the golden age of music.

  • I am so glad I grew up when I did!!

  • I hate when people say we don't have good music anymore. That's absolutely not true... Just because being " vintage " -or whatever the right word is- is cool.. Come on people. --'

  • This has always been my favorite Fleetwood Mac song. :)

  • @kattelyn92 ME TOO :D!!!!!!

  • 10 people went back...

  • romours best album .

  • its like he new his song could be way bad ass even though he only had two verses.

  • Fleetwood Mac consisted of Mick Fleetwood,Lindsey Buckingham,Stevie Knicks, and the lady with the soothing voice-Christine Mcvie

  • @naturalistize Don't forget about John McVie.(bass player)

  • @naturalistize It's Stevie Nicks. And don't leave out John McVie!!!

  • This is my mom's favorite song. I wanted to play this for her for Christmas on piano, but I cannot find the sheet music for it anywhere, only the guitar chords. If anyone has a link to piano (vocal might work too), please reply.

  • It's songs like this that never grow old, so glad my parents brought me up on this kind of stuff. Some music nowadays just doesn't have the same spark about them

  • @TheLDOMusicSound Same here. Its true what u say.

  • daniel brou

  • Been down way more than once...............NEVER GOING BACK AGAIN!

  • Thanks for posting!

  • A very commercial album.

  • @kujo839 Just cuz it made money doesn't mean its commercial...

  • Perfect song, plays really well on my B&W CM1.

  • Everyone knows it was Raphiel ( or however you spell it) Ravenscroft who played sax on Baker St. god knows where Bob Holness cameinto it.

  • It says it all....

  • @tjb1007 Wow! You are the man! I had no idea who played sax on that but he was awesome! Hate to say it but I love the sax on Carless Whisper (Wham). Or check out David Sandborn collab with Kenny Loggins (Love will Follow) the best!!!

  • This song.

    Is perfect.

    END OF STORY

    <3

  • but did bob holness play sax on baker street?

  • between the guitar and the vocal harmonies, this song definitely gets your attention and keeps it

  • I have the urge to learn the guitar now..

  • @StupidChords This song is SO fun to play on guitar

  • @me0w1234567899 Except for that whole astonishingly egomaniacal douchebag thing.

Kanye West is a fart in a hurricane compared to any of the aforementioned legitimate artists who perform actual music as opposed to bastardizing other people's work, then spouting obnoxious bullshit about how awesome and wealthy they are over the top of it.

  • @dantesinporno Couldn't have said it better. So many great Rand B artists: James Ingraham, Billy Ocean, there are 20 black singers in my church who sing better than West. Just need a pair of sun glasses and gold bling -boom your a star!

  • I just put new strings on my 12 string acoustic and played this song for the first time in what must be decades!

  • Whenever Bernie Ecclestone decides to go to another location and the race is a borefest, this song starts playing in my head. A very nice song, in total contrast to the tracks I was thinking of:P

  • Simplicity makes everything great.

  • HOLY OMG THIS SONG IS AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i love this one and go your onw way

  • I'm glad listening to classic rock my entire life and knowing of Fleetwood Mac brought me here. :) Glee is only introducing Glee to everyone; just turn on your radio to the classic rock station and there you go! Well nowadays it's internet radio. Either way, tune in to those stations!

  • I love this song! My favorite Fleetwood Mac song! Thank you Glee for introducing this to me!

  • WTF?! 10 dislikes!?!? People obviously don't know good music when they hear it because there 2 poisoned by all the auto-tuned crap thats going around..... such a shame.....

  • The generation before mine got Lindsey Buckingham, John Lennon, Jimi Hendrix and Jim Morrison.

I get Nickelback, Limp Bizkit, Kanye West and Hannah Montana. Excuse me, I need to go angrily vomit.

  • @dantesinporno move over, i will be joining you

  • @dantesinporno nothing wrong with kanye.

  • @dantesinporno Why are you bitching? You're on youtube listening to the generation before your's music right now. No one is forcing you to listen to Hannah Montana, you can have Fleetwood Mac and still have been born in the 90's.

  • @dantesinporno excuse me while i sit here disgusted at people for making comments like this. are you trying to say there was no mediocre music back then? of course there was.

if you can't find good music today, it's because you aren't looking hard enough, period. of course, if you are limiting yourself ONLY to those older styles of music, then of course you're not going to find much because music has moved on just like you won't find much good classical music these days.

  • @dm9910 well said sir.

  • @dantesinporno

I feel for you. It was a great time. But we made something for it. My advice, OWS is a good start. When you change the world, the music will follow.

  • @dantesinporno Thanks to YouTube, we get them all back when we want......YEAH!!!

  • @dantesinporno broken bells are pretty good, look em up

  • My name is earl, anyone?

  • love this tune!!!

  • so many great tracks on one album

  • Good music is ageless, timeless and spans all eras. No need to classify ourselves by age. Just enjoy the art form.

  • Nice sound. Thank you~

  • NO one fucking cares how old you are.. just listen the song and appreciate it

  • You know what sucks? I'm only 18 and I absolutely love this song. Ever since I was 12 in fact. Unfortunately for now on whenever someone catches me listening to this song, the're instantly going to think I am listening to this song because of Glee due to my age. Man, fuck that. And I'll have to live with this curse for now on. I almost wish Glee NEVER covered this just for that very reason.

  • @Maxmulham I appreciate it when young people love music of the 60's and 70's. Did you learn about FM from your parents?

  • @vakantieland4 kind of, but they had other genres to their liking. To be honest, alot of the music I listen to is simply because I like it. No real influence from family members and definitely not friends. Probably one of the very reasons why I believe nature defeats nurture. Since my siblings usually listen to modern stuff, it generally supports my theory. Of course, it's far more complex than that.

  • love this song--heavily under-rated!!

  • I am 13 years old and this is music. I hate mainstream music they play now. It makes no sense. The only good music is the bands they don't get enough credit and older bands. Rap and pop or whatever is terrible. It makes me feel like generations are getting more ignorant as they go.. -_-

  • @HannahEatsBananuh

I'm 22,, I've seen this coming for quite some time..

Welcome to my world of worry..

Fuck I wish I was born in 1965,, to be a teenager when this had come out..

  • @HannahEatsBananuh ; it's encouraging to see someone of your years appreciate talent. I don't get rap.Lindsay Buckingham (Fleetwood Mac) never took lessons. Just gifted. I think you might appreciate his Castaway Dreams (see also on YouTube). 70's music was epic. Chicago, Beach Boys (amazing harmonies), BeeGees, also: Crosby Stills and Nash (great harmonies). 60's The Zombies (Time of the Season), Judy Collins, Joanie Mitchell, Carol King (Tapestry album is a true gem). Enjoy it! I still do!

  • @HannahEatsBananuh I'm 14 and I feel the exact same way..

  • @HannahEatsBananuh I know... I can take rap and pop in small amounts, but after a while I start thinking, "My brain is melting... I need to listen to something else."

  • @HannahEatsBananuh im 15 and i fell the same way you do man. it hurts me to hear the mainstream stuff im waiting for the day that this music comes back

  • @HannahEatsBananuh do you play guitar

  • thatz nutz

  • haha, what are those two balls hanging between his legs

  • this man has magic guitar fingers. probably one of the most underrated guitarists out there

  • @littlepigeon123 and he's self taught! Amazing!

  • Truly a timeless music piece. Music is the only real thing we have in this world. Everything is triggerd from vibrations.

  • Probably my first pick if I was forced to do the "stranded on a desert island song list"... Short, sweet and totally beautiful.

    Thanks Lindsey B!

  • never going back again. </3

  • i was just at heavy metal, then 80's now soft rock XD gots to love youtube!

  • I've been composing track lists - including YouTube videos - of Glee episodes for the past year, and when I compiled the one for this episode, I couldn't find a decent video of this song... THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!!!! (Though please please enter a description like "I own nothing, no copyright infringement intended", etc etc so maybe they won't pull it)

  • This has always been my favorite fleetwood mac song. Such an upbeat melody, yet the lyrics are bittersweet. Just gorgeous stuff!

  • Lindsey Buckingham is one of the best acoutic guitar player's ever. And a great vocalist. One of my favorite song's. And what kind of person would dismiss the music, and concentrait on what's between Mick's crotch anyway.sound's a little flip to me!

  • Comment removed

  • I remember how much my late MAMA loved and enjoyed this song every time that we rode together making me play it again and again. I still play it again and again.

  • By jove this music takes me back, flaggens of ale and yum yums for one and all!!

  • guitarist appreciate buckingham he's not forgotten in our world

  • Better quality than on my cd!!! Thank you!!

  • If anyone doesn't like the guitar in this song, bow yer head in shame. It's fucking amazing picking and just pure happy.

  • Linday Buckingham, what an under rated writer and he wrote most of their music, yet you never see anyone giving this guy alot of praise.

  • A guitar-lover's paradise. Can't get enough.

  • Choosing a favorite FM song is like choosing a favorite dessert, very difficult, but I think for me this is it. Love the guitar.

  • the fucking guy owns the guitar if anyone knows lindsey for real they would have a clue! just listen to the picking it a masterpeice!!!

  • Love this!!

  • the guitar in this just blows me away. wow.

  • of coarse some1 like my gf would show me this song XD

  • Beautiful!!!

  • Im in LOVE with this song and fleetwood mac!!

  • What is most concerning is, why there are balls hanging from my man on the cover. How did this become a good idea? :) Don't care where people first heard the song (glee, etc.) glad it is being enjoyed. I'm 196.

  • @BigKingSean14 The balls are actually lavatory chains. For decades Mick has worn them as a good luck charm whenever he performs. He explained the origins of this in a recent interview -

"I came out—and I must admit I had a couple of glasses of English ale—and came out of the toilet with these, I ripped them off the—you know, I was very destructive—I ripped them off the toilet and had them hanging down between my legs."

    And the rest is history.

  • @chissykim Ha, how peculiar. Perhaps, "couple of glasses" was an understatement. Thanks for the post and enlightenment - did not think there would be a logical reason for said balls (lavatory chains), although I am still not certain a logical reason comes into play here. :) Cheers!

  • @BigKingSean14 I didn't even notice that. LOL.

  • Great! Awesome! im only 17 but i love this song! Fuck glee!

  • awesome music- im 33

  • <3

  • way better thqn YAK

  • Buckingham has my respect after trying to learn how to play this..That fuckin chorus is difficult.

  • fuck glee!!!!!!!! (yes, I said it).

  • people should quit bitching about glee. it's clearly educating people about good music.

  • GLEE WIZZZZZZZ , LMAO !

  • For me this is not about learning how to play or sing it but rather about the state of mind of the composer and his experience, which drives him/her to produce something so gentle and and emotional wit so few words and beautifuly simple but harmonic lick on the guitar.Makes me want to be 20 again....

  • I'm 14, I watch Glee and without it I never would have heard of Fleetwood Mac. Now, I love them.

  • @phlipperdobson And i love you for the comment .-. i'm 13 .----. Thanks for comment for me xD

  • I'm glad Glee at least introduced good music like Fleetwood Mac to the young generation. There's hope for the world yet!

  • @iwearbigshoes What's Glee?

  • @iwearbigshoes I know right!! I can tell you, im very young, and i looooove this music now that glee introduced it to us!! Thank you glee!!:D

  • @iwearbigshoes Yeah except too bad the only version those kids will know are the shitty covers done by Glee. They should just dig through their parents record collection, like I did.

  • Perfect. Anyone that's tried to play guitar knows how difficult this is compared to some famous guitar riffs.

  • whats glee?

  • GREAT song, love the guitar, the singing, the lyrics, every bit of it. Probably my favorite FM song of all time.

  • my first dance song for my wedding :)

  • Glee sucks this song has been around long befor ethey were even born. And will be around without there help long after glee is gone.

  • what the hell does glee have to do with this group they are young and dumb and this group is old and wise he he

  • good song ty for original

  • My favorite track from an album that has no faults whatsoever.

I wish a few kids would come around again and make an album like this... The world could use it right now.

  • guys, dont hate on glee atleast its getting the song recognised :D

  • I almost ran over a midged dressed as a leprechaun to this song

  • i almost smoked a whole blunt to this song, shoulda made it a lil smaller its too chop.

  • the problem is that glee does not introduce kids to that music...i actually had a kid tell me that he loved that dont stop believing song that the kids from glee made up

  • On the other hand, if Glee introduces today's kids to the great music of the previous generation, it's not so bad. They give credit to the original artists, they do have some talent and are not lip-syncing.

  • Why must glee go ruin this song for me?

  • Glee? It is a hole in pants!

  • A awesome album and on i got on LP/Vinyl and i try to upload this song but i had to remove it off my channel i might try again soon from the LP

  • there's a reason why this album became a kickass success!!

  • i'm a huge fan of glee...and they make me know and enjoy this. i really dont understand people's hate against them. they never try to do better than the original song, just sing (that is what they love to do), make teenagers know good stuff and use the lyrics for the story. they're so talented, i bet if you saw one of them playing as a unknown person on youtube, you would enjoy.

  • @jessicanerym13 No worries, Glee just isen't for everyone...they are great though!! and they have great taste in music

  • 12 string genius

  • WTF is Glee?!

  • @fundaa888

Ignorance is bliss--trust me on this.

  • @fundaa888 what is glee? what a sad life you lead :( haha no jk, u got fleetwood mac, so ur good :)

  • @fundaa888 its a tv show thats amazing and they did a cover on this song on the show

  • @fundaa888 Good question. It's the shittiest show on T.V. that desperate teenage girls watch so they can sit in the corner and feel like they're gettin' in on it with the guys on the show.

  • @fundaa888 believe me my friend you dont wanna know

  • sexyass guitar part i swear

  • i luv this song!

    this is better then glee

  • my goal in life is to learn this song on guitar... hahaha

  • There is no opportunity for going back again...

    and this is good so.

  • fuck Gleee covered This? shit! sorry I think its pathetic the take such amazing songs and cover it!

  • @kozmicblues14 Glee? What Glee?

  • @superunt43 some dumbass show with a bunch of Justin bieberish sounding teens(mostly my age) cover amazing classic rock songs such as this.

  • @kozmicblues14 I made no attack upon your age, say things off the cuff I do very quickly without thinking of the consequences.

  • @kozmicblues14 Not a huge Glee fan myself, but what i like about it is that its opening a whole new world of musical greatness to a bunch of kids that seem to be only exposed to mindless top 40 crap! So now a younger generation is enjoying Fleetwood Mac :)

  • @girlbutton Actually I agree with that statment. I just hope they listen to the original more often than the glee cover.

  • @kozmicblues14 Me too

  • Just noticed the two balls hanging down between the man's legs - hahaha. I adore the song, however, so nostalgic.

  • oh my goodness, the perfect little song! Such talent in the music, playing, lyrics, and singing.

  • is it just me but this is one underated track!! needs more support tooverkake the beiber (dont care if i spell it wong) cretins!!!
