@h2dude69 PART 1: Ibn al-Qayyim mentioned that reciting Qur’aan with a tune and in a melodious voice, if it is done naturally with no exaggeration or special teaching or training, then it is permissible. If extra effort is added to the natural tone to make it more beautiful, such as when Abu Moosa al-Ash’ari said to the Prophet SAWS (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), “If I had known (you were listening), I would have made it more beautiful for you,” then that is OK.
@h2dude69 PART 2: But if the reciting in a melodious voice is done in an artificial manner, with special training and musical rhythms, this is something which the salaf despised, and which they criticized and condemned. It is known that the salaf used to recite the Qur’aan in a sad tone, making their voices beautiful and giving it a sad tone sometimes and a joyful tone sometimes. This is something natural.
ASalam 'alaikom wa rahmatullah ,@ Milkshaykh01, akhi al Kareem ,do you know any fatwa which permits imitation, if yes can you post the link please, or is it an open matter (neither permissible nor forbidden ) barakAllah feek akhi.
@AlbanianLionsOFAllah Walakum salam wa rahmatulahi wa baraktuhu. PART 1: Making one’s voice beautiful when reciting Qur’aan is something that is prescribed and was enjoined by the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) listened to the recitation of Abu Moosa al-Ash’ari and liked it, and he told him, “You have been given a melodious voice like that of Dawood.” (Muslim, Salaat al-Musaafireen, 793).
@MilkShaykh01 PART 2: On this basis, if the imam of a mosque imitates a person who has a beautiful voice and recites beautifully in order to make his own voice and recitation of the Book of Allaah more beautiful, this is something which is prescribed for him and for others, because it moves the worshippers praying behind him, and makes them focus, listen and pay attention to the recitation. Allaah bestows His bounty on whomsoever He wills and He is the owner of great bounty. (Ibn Uthaymeen)

Is it permissible to take singing lessons to train your vocal chords to make your voice strong like this?
I really want to recite like this but I don't have a good voice.
