  • Yeah, agreed with weighing up the costs.

    Mine was £650 inc. an external Rode Videomic. I never bother uploading in HD now though - takes to long to upload and often takes ages for people's computers to load the videos.

  • nice one jason...i am still not using HD for youtube very often I have a HD cam i just find the file size takes ages to edit and render through sony vegas but I will get round to it eventually.

  • yes i paid 320 that was cheap then but 8 months later you can get it for around 235 ish....amazing

  • I broke my normal camera (watch my video), so I am using my stone age (Panasonic M10) camcorder with a usb interface I bought off ebay and it works a treat.

  • i have an JVC Everio HDD and its good cus it has a built in 60 gb hard drive and has great quaility!! i got it on sale for 299$ - thats not pounds thats the american doller but its a great camera!!!!

  • yes the everio range is great but in the UK we are ripped off on this stuff often same in £ as you pay in $

  • I've got an Xacti too (older model) and have filmed several of my YouTube videos using it. Quality is excellent.
