@Smilinginmygrave Actually Latin died when the last people of the roman empire got conquered by the goths and other migrators...after that the Latin language got mixed with their language...and so appeared the 5 latin languages from nowadays: Italian, French, Spanush, Portuguese and Romanian. [Theese all have latin as the main factor in their formation]

Scholars were expected to know Latin, as well as indulge in inquiry into scholastic fields using Latin as the main language of articulation. This was particular so in the 1600s during the time of the Renaissance when knowing Latin and Greek equated to being able to scrutinize the works of ancient writers.

@Demigodish4o3 It is true that Heroes 5 is everything that Heroes 3 is +more, but Heroes 3 had the greatest number of additions and changes in terms of its content, units, factions and scenarios, from its predecessors. In addition, even if you count scenarios alone, Heroes 3 still had many more compared to Heroes 5. It is because it somewhat defined a new generation of turned-base RTS by setting an extremely high standard for its time that it deserves much credit for that title.

There is no offical date and it isnt anounced at all. But on an interview with some developers of heroes 5, the developers had "Heroes 6" written on their T-shirts. When they were asked for it, they just said "no comment". So you can guess they will make heroes 6

@MAcrage100 It's "Dies Irae" I'm not sure if the text is 100% the same but the melody is deinitely Dies Irae. Look up "Dies Irae Chant" on youtube. Interestingly it also can be heard in the last 20 or so seconds of necropolis soundtrack of Heroes III. Enjoy !

Heroes of Might and Magic 3, rates the best out of all of the series... I'd rate Heroes (of Might and Magic) 4 the best, the changes there were realy tactical, not just buy everything bullshit, you'd acutaly have to choose, heroes and monsters could also walk around alone whitch presented even bigger tactical posibilities.

Personally, I liked Heroes IV the best, it was an improvement over Heroes III in my eyes and the best part about it was that heroes were actually heroes rather then commanders. Ubisoft kinda fail to get the point of the game and just shamelessly try to copy the 3rd installment to no success. They even changed the name so the new game would seem original.
