i have always been a massive fan of VF and this is just more proof that it is viable and the best option we have for a greener and larger global population
next is growing plants in a zero g environment! that would be fun! im sure its been done but still that would be cool and what about an environment that vaccum sealed... no CO2 i guess is the only problem and water dispursing.... hmm random rant....
I know this is more superstition than science, but I wonder how a plant is different (nutritionally, etc) when grown under artificial light indoors and in a constant struggle with gravity.
And what happens after you smoke *cough cough* cannabis? You get the munchies.
Somebody better start growing some food. In fact, even pot smokers might like to grow their own tomatoes, jalapeños, cilantro, and onions. That way, they only have to buy corn chips and cheese and have all the nachos they want.
Hhhmmmnnn......
Bet you can't grow avocados in that thing. If they want guacamole...
wow . good info

Really interesting use of technology. With declining, usable land space, maybe we should be mass-producing stuff like this.
Muy interesante, gracias!

This is a great idea. If Safeway had these I'd buy fruit and vegies right off the wheel thing.

Very interesting, but what normally happens is that people patent these things and then price them way out of reach of normal people.

A handyman with some creativity can make something alike for one fifth the price. Or cheaper using used parts.
