o and i'm Mauritian. but the culture is very similar.
That "The Lynx effect" slogan worked on me for years - from about the age of thirteen, Lynx was the only brand of deodorant that I'd buy, 'cos I was convinced that, if I used it, girls'd fancy me. But reality really can be a pain sometimes.
