Betrand made the swamp monsters as an act to fool the milita into being secure or something along those lines. depending on your karma at the end of the game the miltia will end up fighting alongside the rebels against you or the beast. No more spoilers out of me.

I could have used a *little* more depth in how they presented Bertrand considering how deeply he was involved in the story, but regardless, he made a great villain unlike anything I'd tangoed with in years. And the final confrontation was ENDLESSLY satisfying.

@JagaimoLoco well he was the man that ordered the "power switcher" and the man that showed you that power and greed is not an option for a hero so i think he had more depth than most of the characters except for zeke^^

This song.. is so hypnotizing and foreboding. When the strings kick in at :40, it sounds like it could be in Batman Returns. Love anytime this song popped up in the game. Really wish they would've fleshed out Bertrand a bit more, he was a really interesting design..

I just felt they could've done even more than they did.. Brought in more characters, mix-up the gameplay by having you play as Kuo or even Zeke looking for leads about Bertrand's shady businesses, etc.. Man, I can't get enough..
