Fuck! I saw Ozzy a few weeks ago with the Metal God Rob Halford! They are both old enough to be my Dad and they still put on a hell of a show! I thought Ozzy looked done when I saw him during the "No More Tours Tour" but he's still kicking ass! Ahh... check out the backline. I have a magazine from 1988 with Zakk endorsing Metaltronix amps. The marketing pitch was The Zakk Attack.

I see the Metaltronix cabs there too in the backline as well. I don't know when it was that Zakk decided to perpetuate this legend for himself, that he has only used a jcm-800, boss super overdrive and boss super chorus throughout his entire career for his sound. But the facts show that he did use a variety of gear in his early years with Ozzy, including such said endorsement deal with metaltronix. I guess it's more 'macho' these days to use a gibson, marshall and boss combination.
