@NeverAWord from what ive studied years and years ago, in middle school, the first ever "recorded" (not what was said to people ) capturing of a African to be used as a slave started in 1441 by the Portuguese. they tricked the Africans and captured them and brought them to Portuguese and Brazil and other countries that have a large African population. the Portuguese worked with the Europeans and so on, so NO WE DIDN'T START ANYTHING!
