lol,,,i think he says :"..das kann man sich nicht anhören, das ist meine DNS = Desoxirybonukleinsäure...."can you translate it now ? " I think you can...i love this song ! 5*
at the end Blixa quotes from Franz Kafka: "The rooks state, one rook is enough to destroy the skies. That is right without any doubt, but does not proof anything against the skies, because skies means the impossibility of rooks."
The funny thing about this is that after reading the whole time from the book, Blixa makes this... i don't know... playful (or maybe skittish) face and says: "And besides I know something from Kafka by heart" ^_^
Don't worry MaliMacaklin I also understand almost nothing but it doesn't interfere me in enjoying this and this version of 'Letztes Biest am Himmel' is the best I've seen I think that art is not something to understand but mainly to feel
sorry for mistakes if I've done some but I'm not English
I really love Rammstein but Blixa & Einstuertzende Neubauten were the first and I think the best 'Industrial' band. I saw them between 79 and 82 in Berlin but I was a bit out the game and couldn't give you an exact date, except that week they had the centerfold in the Berliner 'TIP' magazine! Wunderschoen!!!
Einstuerzende Neubauten are quite different than Rammstein. Quite a few of Rammstein's songs, if you strip them down to acoustic guitars & drums they're well written pop songs. EN's songs are just avant-garde madness. Strategies Against Architecture II shows how out of the box EN really are. They're the shiz - nit!
Yeah I know they are quite quite different, but EN were the first to have the Label Industrial and they were Industrial, Much more ChainSaws and Hammer Drills - But with the vast differences between them I still like them both - your right Rammstein do write good, well written Pop songs and EN is just total Madness but I'll always have a soft spot for Blixa, I liked him even before the Bad Seeds and He can play guitar Brilliantly!
Blixa liest hier aus seinem Buch "Stimme frißt Feuer". Die Aufnahmen wurden gedreht am 22. November 1989 in München und gesendet in der Sendung off beat bei Tele 5 in München. ;-)))
AM I SUPPOSED TO write in my own mother tongue as well??? thanks for posting ...despite the fact i dunno whats going on but its another things of blixa and as i appreciate him alot this was very helpfull to see blixa from other aspects of his senses in art...
How you do it is wangle a 6 month job transfer to a German Company and no one will speak to you in English [I did it AuPairing for Horses and they couldn't speak English - joke!] but in my experience this is the best way to learn, I now have a huge vocabulary and crap grammar, but can make my self understood and can understand almost everything said to me! And I love Blixa Too!
there is a book "Headcleaner.text for collapsing new buildings" including collection of Neubauten lyrics up to 1996...maybe this book contains this passages
