Pretty neat. I've been meaning to teach mat training to our Bichon for ages now. It would certainly come in handy when people come to the door. However, one problem I think I'd encounter, is how to do this alone. I'm wondering if my dog will get confused if I ring doorbell, run upstairs, and tell him to "go to mat." I want him to have the association with doorbell and mat. You really need two trainers for some exercises.
