  • sad, just sad, a valuable piece, destroyed

  • @synicle0723 Indeed. How will the plant get rebuilt?

  • Poor preplanning and building codes, they should have required them to have a dike system like tank farms have. Just a poor overall plant design as well. That facility was a disaster waiting to happen.

  • treehuggers are not gonna like this one bit.......

  • I Can See Why Its Called A Fire Truck

  • What a nice fire engine, it's too bad it burned

  • i was born in waxahachie

  • 1) I don't trest chem plant mgt to tell firefighters what they. I was on a chem plant and mgt told us some RR tank cars were empty when they weren't. Flame was impinging on tank cars. After fire out we found out cars were 1/2 full and engineers tol us we were 5 min short of a BLEVE. 2) Not to be rude, but @trademorton05, do you even have a pair of b--ls? I was both a paid and volunteer firefighter who gave my time for nothing to save those like you. I hope when you need help there's no one there

  • thats not funny assholes i live there right beside the plant and are apartmeant all most got on fire

  • Oops. LOL. One less truck. Now why aren't any of these guys wearing their self contained breathing apparatuses?! This is a chem fire.

  • Obviously tradernorton05's wife left him for a firefighter...

  • I hate it when that happens!

  • oh the irony

  • Sends chills...how horrible...what if those firemen were your sons, son-in-laws, fathers, grandfathers, brothers, uncles, friends, co-workers...they were...so sorry...a huge loss for all involved and even some of us not involved.

  • That firetruck lived up to it's name.

  • This just reaffirms my belief that firefighters are some of the dumbest fucks on the planet.

  • @tradernorton05 OBVIOUSLY POSTD BY OUR "brothers" IN BLUE

  • @tradernorton05 Let me know when your house is on fire and they are the ones running in to save your life.

Then tell us what you think

  • @tradernorton05 Okay, then. If you are ever involved in a wreck and you're pinned in, your vehicle is on fire, and you've got internal bleeding: tell them that you've got everything under control and you don't need help from any "stupid f's".

Let me know how that works out.

  • @tradernorton05 yes because all us fire fighters are "stupid fucks" grow a dick you pussy im a vollunteer fire fighter i dont get paid to do this i risk my ass for free to save dumb fucks like yourself because they think they can take care of their own problems. and when the shit hits the fan what number do you call hmmm oh yeah 911. GET A LIFE YOU FUCKING PUSSY ASS TROLL!

  • @tradernorton05 Yeah, we gotta be pretty dumb to risk our lives for assholes like yourself.

  • @tradernorton05 Fuck off, troll and get a life.

  • INDEPENDENT AIR QUALITY TESTS PLS. EPA IS ONLY GOING TO PROTECT THIS PLANT'S FINANCIAL INTERESTS - THIS WILL BE AN INDEFINITE HEALTH HAZARD TO THE POPULATION NEARBY. WHO WILL PAY UP?

  • Hey any of u that commented really live in Waxahachie... ME!!!

  • I have a crappy video of this plz watch

  • I think you parked a little too close there, skippy.

  • when an out of town department comes in to help put out a fire they are under the comand of the town the event happened in, basically waxahachie FD tells Ennis FD where to park. bye bye truck

  • My first concern was for all firemen. I'd guess chemical plant fires are about the most hazardous.

  • That smoke looks tasty

  • "Magnablend has been servicing the oil industry for over 30 years. We are able to manage projects from the sourcing of raw materials to the final packaging and delivery to the field." MagnaBlend website ---- I knew there was something fishy about this fire.

  • Ennis to the rescue!! EPIC FAIL

  • Defend the earth or you will be her enemy! and stop taking my grand babies future!

    Robin WA

  • That's a pretty expensive mistake on the fire department's part. It's chemical plant and you just roll up in there.

  • Check out my video I got this closest to the fire full audio you hear the explosions channel 8 couldn't even pay to get this close the title is waxahachie plant fire check it out people

  • look at the end of the video you can see the remaining firemen running for their lives when they pan out in the lower left corner. How do you control something like this. As the heat melted those plastic totes more chemicals spewed out on the ground

  • I freaked a little from that.

  • I live 1 mile away from that ...

  • @MrDanny09261 better get some pills to help your system clear it doesnt matter the wind Chemicals spread in the air and all over look at Japan Nuclear power plant they told people to leave within 100 miles or more this is almost the same thing prepare to live soon not trying to scare u its very harmful Chemicals in the air

  • The Fail begins 0:20... This is right down the road.. Makes me not want to breathe, and jesus h. christ on a rubber crutch... Who teaches who to park the fire truck where?. They should be fired. My cousin is now out of a job..

  • @pixelpusher420 Mistakes happen. No one really could have forseen that one happening but i do agree. Apperatus placement is key

  • @jromig21 The thing about chemical fires, they burn faster and spread quicker. This is an example of local emergency services not being able to respond and be efficient responders to these type of situational hazards at the businesses that the smaller towns play host to.

  • I watched this happen! :p

  • i'm guessing they'll be getting a bill for that...

  • whoa!!

  • They had a plan in place to save lives. accomplished.

  • wtf? wouldn't u think a chemical plant would have a fire plan in place? Have the right tools and equipment to deal with these chemicals? another corporate fuck up like the oil spills.

  • @sundayschool2 They had a plan and they had sprinkler system in place the fire hit too hard and fast. The sprinklers were overwhelmed.

  • @sundayschool2 ????what about the airborne toxins in the surrounding community and the health of the people.

I guess that don't matter as long as their is a new fire truck.

go a head breath the poison its OK the mandatory health insurance bill should take care of that no problem there is nothing to be alarmed about ........NOT

  • lol fireman fail. Thats why you use foam. way to make the fire about 10x worse

  • @MrRuhhrohh ok, fireman Joe, GTFO the internet and go fight it yourself.

  • Comment removed

  • @MrRuhhrohh Do you have any idea how much foam it would have taken to make a dent in a fire that size? And what kind of foam would you use? AFFF, alcohol type foam, microBlaze out? And where would you get the tens of thousands of gallons of it? Sorry, but you are talking out of your non-fire educated ass.

  • Comment removed

  • Absorbent booms? Foam? What did they not do right?!

  • my brother works there so i hope he's ok

  • I was just fixing lunch when I heard about this. I LIVE VERY CLOSE TO WAXAHACHIE!!!
