Just a tip. Try racking the slide by grabbing the rear of the slide with your thumb and index finger girl you might have better luck. Also when pushing the mag release button put your free hand underneath it. Please don't be offended by my critiques but I'm just trying to help you Cindy. Good video.
@Mr5cylinders Okay, thought on it. A lot of weak handed shooters cannot preform the standard drill. Don't go busting no one's balls on an acceptable weak handed drill. I teach that same drill you just saw to operators and leos. She just looked cute making the same mistake hundreds have made. Don't try to "help"her. She did just fine.
Like the video... OH, by the way....the device holding the ammo is a "magazine" not a "clip". A clip feeds ammo to a magazine, such as in the M1 Garand. So that little ditty you have on your side is a magazine! ;-) Good job, keep the videos coming!
So you carry without the retention strap? I carry either a BDA or Bodyguard .380 in these and they woudn't stay without the strap. Is Bubba able to carry without the strap?
For some reason I was the one who always got tagged helphing female cops pick a holster. Maybe it was just a timing thing. However, I've found the easiest way to carry is in the small of the back. An IWB opposite hand, or a SOB holster work fine. Some undercover guys told me they preferred no holster as it made them more aware. Remember, if you smell trouble you should already be reaching for cover and gun.
That first rig was a Kangaroo holster. The problem with the Kangaroo and the Deep Conceal is the strap that goes over the gun to keep the gun in. Getting that strap off slows you down and makes for a pretty slow draw. In addition, the strap stays put with velcro, which makes noise when you peel it off to get the gun out. I use a Kangaroo only when absolute concealment is a must, or when driving long distances.
@61loneviking I guess with all holsters there are pros and cons...this one is really comfortable and in the video I was using my big 45 as a demo. It really works well with my 38 and sub compact 45....without the retention strap. Thanks for the comments ;) c
@ItzDuckSauce Gimmie a break... I was in the Army 20 years ago and back then we called them clips. You can take the girl out of the Army but you can't take the Army out of the girl...... Thanks for watching ;) c
What in hell do you need to carry a GUN for? You must live in a place populated by freaks, murderers, and deviates, where you fear for your life at every moment. "I" have never met anyone that wasn't pretty cool, but of course, live "Out West"---I don't know how things are in the East, but I think people are generally not "out to kill you" most of the time even there. Sorry for the scathing response, but there's just no need........
@1960markN Dude read some of the responses this chick gets for her videos and you'll find your answer for why she carries.
A more direct answer is to protect herself. Seems obvious but guess some people are dense.
Its your right to be naive and not plan to protect yourself if you get attacked but remember to bring some lube so it doesn't chaff when they rape you.
@RavenBaron Yeah, I know, a hot chick like Cindy has probably spent her life dealing with assholes giving her rude comments, rude looks and rude approaches, but what I'm saying is that carrying a gun is pretty dang extreme. And remember we all approach things from OUR perspective---me, I'm 6 ft, 220 pounds, feel like I could take on most attackers. You are also right, I hope my naivete' never gets the best of me. I live in a very "red state" area, I bet a lot more people than I realize "carry
@RavenBaron Yeah, I always try to be decent, there are enough ranters here on You Tube. I laughed like crazy at your suggestion to always carry some lube, hell, that's not a bad idea, you never know when an opportunity may arise. It's funny, though, I often tell people I have absolutely no concern out on the trail about bears, snakes, cougars, etc,,,. probably the most dangerous thing out there is other people. (again, especially from Cindy's perspective. Check my channel!
@1960markN I feel the need to jump in here(a week later!). Truthfully we ALL live in a place "populated by freaks, murderers, and deviates". Violent crimes are committed against people every day, even in places where "nothing like this has happened here before!". I choose to be prepared (not afraid!)and able to defend myself. Id rather have it and not need it than need it and not have it. Not carrying is your personal choice but don't tell someone who does that "there's just no need"
@MissBattleBorn Yup, we all have our own deal....be sure to read all my posts you'll see I softened my stance a little and acknowledge that it's not rattlesnakes that is the real danger, it's "snakes in the grass" LOL you are right , remember the una bomber lived in the wioods in Montana somewhere. Have fun camping!
@1960markN Yep I was a week late on my post but I enjoy arguing so I figured I'd throw it in there LOL
I certainly don't live in fear but I live in preparedness, and I don't wanna be another woman who walks around with a target on my back, and unable to defend myself. I wear my seatbelt too...not that I plan on getting in a car accident, I just want in on in case I do, if you catch my drift ;)

@1960markN @1960markN Here I was busting your balls in my post and you come back at me with a polite, reasonable post.
Sorry I put my point indelicately, but I did want you to understand its dangerous out there.
At your size you could probably take on most comers, course if they have a gun or there's 2 or 3 of em you might be in some trouble.
Whether or not I carry a gun was decided for me, when I knew I had to protect the women in my life.
