  • Man.... this guy was smokin!!!!! No wonder Sammy never wanted to follow him!

  • THE KING OF COOL.......DAMN HE'S SO SMOOTH!

  • Bobby Darin is the man!

    Schwi~ing!

  • This is so cool. The move he makes at 0:22 is priceless.

  • WoW! I have not seen this. Thanks for posting! RIP Bobby, you sing with the angels now.

  • im gonna dress like Bobby Darin for halloween what do you guys think about is it cool

  • Thnk you space comics. I love this song. Bobby Darin knew how to show his love for music. We babby fans love him for his love of music and his love for people.

  • elvis sinatra darin manilow buble' best ever

  • Darin also composed this swinging tune !..Thanks for posting.

  • The Almighty DARIN!

I love this song as its lyrics pretty much sum up my take on life *lol*

  • See The Jack Benny Show starring Bobby Darin. It is a 3 part series.

  • This is one of a series of videos of The Jack Benny Show where Bobby is chosen to play the life of Jack Benny in a movie, I think they are all on youtube. The whole thing is a hilarious skit where Bobby lives with Benny for a period of time so he can get into character. It is classic and of course Bobby does a knockout Jack Benny impression in the last video of the series.

  • wtf that politically correct audience.. oh those must have been the days. look at the old timer telling his wife "great" after the stopped singin. :) oh the manners :)

his songs are great but sometimes he sang them so differently and without any passion

  • Um, are you saying that Bobby sang songs without passion? Apparently you haven't seen very many of his videos. They wouldn't be making a movie about his life if he didn't have passion.

  • @JoanOfArc14 Bobby was the passion of the "great Era!" I cant think of the 50's without thinking of Bobby! Hey,...I was born in 1969 too!!....I lived that era via my daddy who LOVED this guy!!!

  • bobby darin was nothing if not an entertainer! this was a guy who knew damn near from the womb he was dying and he packed everything into his performance. watch some more videos and then form an opinion this guy gave his life on the stage no less an expert than sammy davis, jr said darin was the one guy he did not want to follow on the stage. sinatra held him in high esteem. check out a few more vids and if you still maintain that opinion well i guess God bless you

  • What an amazing talent! Thanks for this.

  • It doesn't get any cooler than this. I just wish it was longer. Screw what Jack Benny thinks, he was a drip, LOL :)

  • Benny doesn't really think that, he is playing a role on the show. Whenever he really loved a performer he would have them on his show and it meant you had arrived in show business.

  • I agree with Sarah, great music and sooo good looking. My 4 yr old grandson now knows 18 BD songs but he loves the swingin' ones like this, hand gestures and all, and Sittin' On Top Of The World. I'm thrilled to be passing his fabulous music on to another generation.Bobby rules.

    Carol

  • JACK BENNY RULES !!!!

  • This is so much fun, thanks for the rare clip. Bobby is smoing hot!

  • Oh my god he is amazing <3

  • Great song, and his band is definately swinging right along with him!!

  • I love this song, after i heard it in the film beyond the sea, I just love to play it, it makes you feel good, it jaust has that feeling.

  • Once again you've done it,come up with another Darin classic. Bobby is cookin' and sooo adorable.

  • pure pleasure.

  • Amen! Watching this clip makes me wanna rip his clothes off. :D

Aside from that he was a incredible talent. One who still knows how to woo the ladies.

  • sweet.

  • Thank you for this clip, I'd never seen it before. Bobby Darin is always a treat, but seeing my late husband, Howard Caine sitting there next to Jack Benny, priceless. Thank you Lyle (Howard's son) for sending me this clip... and Thank You again, SpaceComics, for uploading it!

  • Glad you found it! I loved Howard Caine in Hogan's Heros and 1776.

  • another that Ive never seen before..vintage Darin, before his "political" statement....its almost as if Bobby's still here....can you imagine how creative he would be,if he had this musical technology at his disposal? thanks for this one!

  • thanks so much for this!! The copy of the show I have doesn't seem to have this :(

    Thanks again!

  • Thanks sooooo MUCH for posting this. It's a real treat when I can find something of Bobby's that I've never seen. (I saw the Jack Benny clips with Bobby before, but this performance had been omitted).

  • Also its great to have this record of Bobby scatting - pretty convincingly, I may add. Never seen him do that on any other clip.

  • Thanks so much for this. I had not seen it before. This is yet another song written by Bobby Darin, in yet another genre (swing). Not only could he sing it all, he could also write it all. It's very rare to see BD's performances of his own post-rock'n'roll songs.
