this has totally happened to me!

one time I was doing a random on a mage I was leveling, and I was in the middle of taking a flight path when I entered, so when I left the dungeon apparently I had been on my mount, so I was on a raptor instead of the flight path mount, and I had to go the entire rest of the fp at 100%.... it took SO long.

you can actually can do this with a flying mount as well, i have screenies of my draenei carrying her cat, and the cool thing was it had he speed of my ground mount and flying, i was zooming around shattrath after coming out of a bg.

How did you get 301% for a swift flight form, instead of 280%?

When you unlock a 310% speed mount, it will carry over to bird form.
