The one used when you fight Jecht is the same as the one used in the first FMV, so no, I don't think this one is used anywhere in the game.

This IS the version when you fight Jecht. In the battle, the pacing is different at 0:45 from the original theme, just like here, and you can't hear Braska's words in the battle either, like in this one.

@DirkOfNintendo There are 3 versions: the one played in the opening scene of the game, the one you hear now which is played during the boss battle, and the one that The Black Mages released. The Black Mages version has a female voice (Kazco Hamano). The songs from the game are by Nobuo Uematsu and Bill Muir. Just because a song has a rock theme doesn't mean it's by The Black Mages.
