That makes no sense. The SEIU or any union argues a contract between employees and an employer. Labor Unions do redistribute wealth by forcing employers to pay out higher wages/ labor costs. This money would otherwise go to profits.
Businesses in India are able to make very quick profits because of their ability to pay very low wages, even if workers are put in hazardous conditions... because there are no strong labor unions defending workers rights in India.
