@Monsterman958 This particular pedal is not true bypass. However, the simple design of this pedal means there will be extremely little signal degredation. With more complex pedals this becomes more of an issue.

@bjornkipcorn This is an overdrive pedal but yes you can use it as a boost. It's got a good bit of clean gain before it really starts breaking up so I think it would work well in that regard.
