I don't care what anyone ever says I loved hearing any vocalist Iron Maiden ever had that they made records with. I loved what each one had to offer in terms of style.

I've been a Maiden fan for 22 years and although Bruce Dickinson is probably the best singer all round the two Blave Bayley albums are in my top 5 favourite Maiden albums ever. Blaze did a great job for Iron Maiden as he his an excellent singer. Even the two Di'anno albums are excellent though i can't see how Di'anno could have done The Number Of The Beast album any justice as i don't think his vocal style would fit in.

@Janick666Gers When it comes to Iron Maiden, every body has there own favourites Albums. Me personally its Piece of Mind and Somewhere in time. The X Factor is up there as well. Its a great all around War concept album, with songs like 2 am 'Blood on the World hands' The Aftermath, and of course The Edge of Darkness the song that recaps the film Apocalypes now in a perfect way that is pure genius. I also think Blaze Bayley was perfect for the X factor. The songs worked perfect with his voice

What is with this hyper active poser? I believe Steve has him double as a roadie to keep his job. They pay him in Ritalin and happy meals. They should have dumped him when Bruce came back. Oh well, Up the Irons and ignore Janick. Cheers.
@EdtheLivingDead You're kidding right? Janick Gers has THE best stage presence. He was the life of the entire set when I saw Maiden. It was like he was straight out of the 80's, running and jumping around like a fucking maniac. THAT'S the kind of stuff you want, not what you want to ignore. Admittedly, he belongs in the Di'anno-era Maiden, where raw energy and punk vibes were plenty. Current Iron Maiden is just too.. Soft and old for him. And I guess you are too. ;)

Blaze sounds a lot like Phil Mogg from UFO. Kind of cool because I think UFO was an influence on Iron Maiden.
