Your problem why you cant play in HD is that your operating system is not complately recomended for this game(this game was made before windows 7 came out)+for best HD you need at least Geforce 100/200 series...

For AC1 you will need-windows xp(support ONLY windows xp and windows VISTA)(win7 is not supported)and I recomend for best HD nvidia GeForce GT 220 and at least videocard memory 1024 mb!8 serie with 1024 mb should be fine!

You need all of that. One 4870 is enough, you never need more then 4GB of ram under ANY circumstance for gaming, any more and it's for workshops. A basic quad core should be enough.

Mainly depends on your graphics card. It'll still probably lag alot even on lowest settings. Go get a HD4850 for 130 bucks and a gig of ram if you want to run it on higher settings.

I didn't mean he was the best I mean he plays it really well - most other vids I have seen people are just fighting as many guards as they can, not using stealth or evasion, killing civilians, getting hit lots in combat etc. I mean he's playing it the way it was designed, and he's not bad at combat either he blocks and waits for openings rather than spamming them. I've found a couple of other vids since watching this one with people who are as good but his is one of the better ones.
