  • it's simply clay right? or any special kind of clay?

  • what to you do when you finish wotk? do you bake it later? and paint after bake?

  • una pregunta que material usas ?

  • What material do you use?

  • Hey man, it´s amazing to see, how you sculpt Hulks head, he looks so damned angry... Have you allready finished the statue/bust, I would like to see it in fullsize?? I´m still a novice, at the moment I´m sculpting my first statue, Logan in 1/3 scale, and I hope that I could learn more about sculpting muscles, veins and so on... One more time, this Hulk head is f......g amazing!!! :o)

  • it's an ugly beast but a beautiful sculpture ;)

  • that was so awesome! can u make a sculpture on kratos?

  • i have a question: how can you smooth out the figure after you finish it. Mine always have some harsh pieces and rough texture. What tool do i need??

  • How long did this take you!!!!!

  • @RandomComputerGuy67

took me half a day :)

  • That looks so superhumanly impossible. You blew me away man.

  • This is just...mind blowing-the details really are breath taking. Although I admit to wanting to buy 3D software I'm still currently learning the traditional way of sculpting.

Personally I would always opt for traditional, the skills you pick up and learn are fundamental and would help you to create more realistic forms on 3D programs such as Zbrush. Plus I love just creating something from clay :) especially planning to realisation. Thanks for posting this, it's going to help loads! :)

  • This is rly great but can u tell me where are these sculptures used nowadays that there are 3d programs like Z-brush and stuff? Are those sculptures still part of the movie and games industry? I'd rly like to know more :)Thanks

  • @immortaliserwow

Yes , real sculpts are still being used in the games and movie industry for visualization during pre-production process. Case in point is Avatar the movie. However with the current technology, with the advent of 3D printer ( matter of time to reach high resolution quality ) , I feel traditional sculptor will slowly be a rare commodity . However be it Z-brush or 3D printing, it's the core talent and creativity of the artist that counts. Those technology are just a mere tool.

  • @juliankhor i totally agree with you. Many ppl (unfamiliar with the matter) consider PS and digital painting in general to be smth that every average person can deal with. It is as if the PC paints the stuff itself. But as you said it's just a tool. So i strongly believe that rare skills like yours will always be of great help and those 3D printers for example will only replace the proces, not the necesity of a skilled sculptor.

Cheers, uve inspired me to pay more attention to the sculpting clas

  • @immortaliserwow sculpter are still used in the movie inddustry for prop making for the design and animation it comp stuff

  • thats some talent right there :)

  • @mechaart

    Thanks man! :)

  • @juliankhor I just wonder how much is that clay and how much for the tools?

  • This is absolutey Ridiculous. i mean is simply BANANAS. can you tell me which tools you use? cause i been sculpting a little with avse apoxie fix it sculpt and i really am a complete amature. i wld really like to learn. because ive been watching your videos and they are a complete inspiration. thanks.

  • @2007suprasport

Tools.. nothing in particular really.. I use my fingers and and finger nails a lot. I feel they are my best tool for large sculpts. However for finer details.. I use a lot of the loop tool and also the tool with a metal ball at the tip. Not sure what that is called. I hardly rake my sculpt but a lot of pushing instead. Hope that helps?.

  • Owesome buddy!
