  • FABULOSA CANCION GINO ES UN MAESTRO DE TODOS LOS TIEMPOS VIVA,VIVA!!!

  • The perfect 3 minute compostion. I've never heard better!

  • top3 vanelli song along with 'brother to brother' and 'son of a new york gun', which is, in my opinion the other half of jack miraculous and can't be listened separately.

  • This song alone was worth the LP back then.....still a timeless classic.

  • incredible talent. amazing musicianship. Gino is amazing.

  • We played this in the marching band in '87.Oh how I miss those days.

  • @XPECTRON, I'm one of gino's big fan from 1977. I started to listened gino's from powerful people, I still have his LP

  • @MilkyBoyX3, you don't know nothing about 70's music, who the fuck are you? Don't tell me you don't like Gino cause you don't have any idol, a guy like You full of shit.

  • probably the best fusion jazz song EVER!!!!!

  • my favorite GINO song, along with new kicks for 76

  • Brother Joe on all synth/keys, Richard Baker on B-3 organ and Graham Lear on drums. Ouch! What a jam. Saw Gino in Vegas-2009, just magnificent. The "Musician's Musician with stellar vocals to boot."

  • Greatest tune Gino and Joe Vanelli ever put out. Those chord changes on the B section kills. Everything comes together here. Nice synth solo!

  • Yes....great memories and times listening to Gino. I love love love this song!!! Saw Gino for this tour, Gist of the Gemini tour. and the Brother to Brother tour. Thank God the heart never forgets.

  • @lxlandia Sad but true. Every bit of it.

  • Bad ass. Straight up jam.

  • Yayy. I have to learn how to play the music from 1:14 on the trumpet lol

  • @hghscaboose you should hear the trumpet section of the 2010 pride of dixie

  • Wow great piano solo, we are playing that piano riff as a trumpet feature in our show this year. 2010 POD

  • I love Gino....I love this song....

  • good show

  • Magical and great music

  • Incredible voice & production!!

  • The Greatest Singer and Entertainer--That Lives!!!!!!!!

  • Yea - all you guys are sooooo right! And when you consider the musical drivel that passes these days - it's just ridiculous.

  • B R I L L !!!!!!!!!!

listen closely & enjoy.....because we will never see the likes of this vocal style and musical prowess again....

  • Joe Vanelli arranged this whole thing for keyboards. The solo at 1:14 is meant to sound like a trumpet. The 'trombone' guide tones on the bridge are all portamento ARP sounds.

What I love, is that they did this excercise (keyboards for real instruments) with an incredibly mature jazzy song. Joe and Gino both need to be given some credit. This is really tasty.

  • BTW, one of the best parts of the tune is on the last 12 bars of the fade out when Joe is soloing chromatically using 16th notes. Damn, to bad that wasn't in the main body of the solo! It sounds cool as shit over the Fmaj 9 to Eflat 11 chord progression. I love that chromatic sound and use it all the time playing guitar!

  • Killer electric piano riff

    Screaming Hammond

    Superb synth solo

    Insane drumming

    Delicious harmonies

    Wicked bass line

Gino's voice on top all that . . Everything is SPOT ON . . What more could you ask for ? AND WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED TO MUSIC AFTER THAT IF IT USED TO BE THAT GOOD ??

  • I agree. This tune sounds so modern even now with all these punks classifying music as "old school" all the time. I guess it's just ignorance. Bach and Miles still sound pretty cool LOL! Keep the spirit alive 007! you aren't alone!!

  • Gino was really futuristic at that time!

  • @pianist007 The de-evolution of art form in this country and the world in general............a morass of cultural deprivity and selfless moral decline is measured in the apathey of the once creative soul of man by the powers to be that control major media outlets of that expression.............

That's your answer in a nutshell..........I shiver for where we are going..........

  • @pianist007 amen bro! well said

  • @pianist007 Don't forget the arrangement and mix...

  • @radicaster1

Absolutely !! It's the arrangement that made all that possible ... the mix is way ahead of its time too !!

  • Respond to this video... It just don't get any better than this....

  • the best

  • No strings (guitars or bass) in this band.

  • i was 17 years old when i saw him in buffalo in 1974.. yikes!!!!! what a band! great tune

  • Boundless energy from a youthful Gino bursting with ideas! Ahh, those were the days....

  • This tune sounds great loud going down the the interstate in a convertible V8 blasting!

  • YEAAAAHHHH !!! Spot on !

  • @docholiday747 i agree drunk ....lol as fucck feeling fearless

  • @docholiday747 done it many times! could'nt agree more!

  • the song of a gangster like me, yeahhh

  • James Madison University Marching Royal Dukes have done many times throughout the years a great arrangement of this tune!

  • Yeah, that's why I looked this one up. The arrangement is actually better than the song, but this song is still pretty funky. I can get a sense of some things I want to bring out in an arrangement

  • Gino's raw, visceral artistry is beyond phenomenal. This selection is punctuated by bitchin' Hammond B-3 work with a Leslie that screams and wails and leaves you begging for more.

  • ¡wow!¡great,Gino! easy friend are easy foes.....

  • Ahahaha little bitch, you sound like a true gay whithout balls, this songs are for really true men, not for little criying girls like you ahaha, i would shoot you, but crap like you don't matters to me.
