I was at that concert, front row, centre...ah memories. She lip synced the first two songs in their entirety. This was song number two, which she followed with a completely and undeniably live version of I Look to You.

I really like whitney huston as a singer even though she has done a lot mistakes and being with Boby Brown is only one of those. The thing is that everyonre makes mistakes even Whitney Huston. As far as music is concerned it is really not her fault that this is bussines no art here in America. Unfortynatelly this sick approach is spreading everywhere now. She cannot admit, but it is money that counts here even if it is all cheap and plastic. We all lost spirits and appreciation for real art.

@sofiesanmeldelse This was a rough show. She ain't performing badly. I went to a show on the tour where her voice was warmed up and she was brilliant. It's a shame the reviewers seem to make up lies about her concerts. Weird. But yeah, she's still got a great voice! :) She just sometimes doesn't know how to work it. But yeah, her voice isn't as strong as it was in the 90's, but it's still better than alot of voices today :) Peace.

It's really interesting as this gives us the chance to compare the vocals on her album with the state of her voice now: when she recorded those tracks she had not sung consistently for a long time so her voice had not found its way back to its natural range. With all the practise she's been getting it has actually gotten higher again so that the really low parts kinda don't feel natural to her. Notes that were high back then are now mid-voiced again. Hope she realizes that & sings accordingly.
