  • The probability of having a winner or loser is still the same reguardless of the previous trade. What you just explained is called the gamblers fallicy. I understand the point you were making but your math is wrong.

  • Hi hi! Have you ever tried the British Box Breakout (search on google)? Ive heard some unbelivable things about it and my mate made insane amounts of pips.

  • michel thank you very much. the parameters for a good trading system are very valuable. Its something like If want to understand the world we have to understand ourself first. Journey begins with us. Millions of hard earned money is lost by gulliable so called traders. hope that the seek your expert advice.thanx again for sharing you learning

  • These videos rock. Trading is all about finding a system that you can mentally and psychologically follow without hesitation,,without greed and without fear.

It's all about discipline and rarely about how one selects trades.

  • Hi zvuk, You'd be right, if his kids put the marble back in the bag after assessing it's color so the # of marbles was infinite. but that's not what he's saying. There's a total of 74.

  • @howlerbike Then the math is still wrong. You must put the marble back in the bag or your sample becomes biased as your number of observations increase. For this guy to be making the point he was trying to make all observations must remain truely unbiased which they are not. So as Zvuk said... his math is wrong.

  • @Blazen1212 Hi Blazen, I don't argue your point that the marble you pulled last time has no effect on the marble you'll pull this time, but the point he's trying to make doesn't require atomic clock accuracy. He doesn't claim no bias. The bias is a 70% profitable claim for the system. If I were to quibble with his math, I'd notice that 1/3 is not the same as 30%,and you can't take 30% of,or divide 74 by, 3, and come up with any # of whole marbles.

  • your mathematics is wrong, you cant expect the marble to be nonwhite if you pull up many whites in a row. The propability is still the same

  • This is the best F*CKN trading video on Youtube period! Great job Michael!

  • good vid man

  • this is the second vid of yours I have watched, very good, balanced and thoughtful. many thanks, looking forward to seeing you in your trading room

  • Good examples!

  • NONE of TTA systems were ever 70% profitable - that is a joke

  • @MrTitleistguy If your sistem work is 70% profitable then why the *blip* are this guys making videos of trading when they could be swimming on dollars over a dollar boatship.

  • well done

  • Good advise man. Iam thinking of trading. Great

  • Thanks very much, trading is a business and needs to be treated as such

  • I've found video very informative for myself.

  • I would suggest this is probably sound advice...nice idea broaching what is daunting to some to an understandable level.

Also there is an advantage in instilling fear and then offering a way of overcoming it....good approach...!

  • useful perspective

  • This is NOT a "great video" nor is it "great information". If as you state at the beginning "9 out of ten" people lose money, why are you using a 70% success rate trading model. Further, picking marbles at random is NOT the same a picking stocks (or MFs) with P&Es, cash reserves, market penetration, trend analysis, etc. etc. etc. This is a cute video, but only shows how inept you are at INVESTING & is a prime example of why 90% of the general public loses their money
