  • cool!

  • What?! You lost almost 40 pounds in only 12 weeks?

  • your fucking awesome man

  • Go drew! Slow and steady is a great motivator. You are definitely inspiring, I bet you feel as great as you getting back into the swing of things :)

  • May I ask...do you think one of the main reasons you are getting your weight down so quickly as well as getting back into shape was the fact that you were very fit before you started? I mean...how much muscle did you loose? For those individuals that have been out of shape for a few years...would you say the key to prolonged struggles is that it takes longer to build muscle on someone that is sedentary for many years as opposed to someone like yourself who was sedentary a few months?

  • @tydees I hope you don't mind if I answer this question. The answer is yes. Your muscle tissue is pretty much the engine for your metabolism. This trainer already started out in shape with significant muscle mass, making it easier than say someone who has hardly ever picked up a dumbbell. Think about a boxer or an athlete who gains weight and gets bloated, but it only takes two months of training to make weight. This is not a deterrent, but people just have to realize hard work is needed.

  • It wasn't a surprise because I read the description first, lol

  • for a body which is used to be fit for so long.. i guess it's easier to go back to the way you were before without struggling as much as those who have been fat for almost half of their life..

my point is: to those who have went from fat to fit, it's easier to get fat again without constant work out and eating well... for people who have went from fit to fat, the right opposite.. nothing against u n what you're doing, it's nice to see how fast you're getting back to fit through hard work-outs..

  • @CZed91 no you're wrong there mate. People that work out don't suddenly gain the magical ability of staying fit no matter what they do. Of course you'll gain the weight back if you stop, easier or harder that's just excuses. Look at Britney Spears. Once super fit, now still with pregancy flab from 5 years ago.. It's about being disciplined and sticking with it always.

  • @savas33 not even a little bit of difference? what I meant to say is there must be obviously a difference between someone who have been fit for almost all his life and someone who always had a bad eating disorder, not doing sport working out or that kind of stuff..

a body used to be in a certain kind of shape constantly for a long time if suddenly changes, tends to get back the way it was more easier.. of course that's just my point of view..and probably you're right too..

  • How much do you bench

  • You look great already, well done.

  • Hey Drew - it's easier to motivate yourself right now if you look down at your own belly NOW... and then look here:

    Big difference - great job!

  • You look awesome already, dude! Keep it up! :D

  • The only thing that looks a bit worrying is if the chest will go back to where it was... it looks like it's hanging quite a bit

  • WAY TO GO DREW.KEEP GOING AND HOPEFUL I'LL GET BACK FOCUS MYSELF.

  • You are doing great!

  • but your not fat i weigh 211pounds and i look a lot fatter than you my weight is 6ft

  • @outlaw675 He went up to 270lbs from 190lbs.

  • How is your health doing since you've been losing the weight?

  • I think your muscles were just hiding underneath all that fat. You don't appear to have loss much of it...ie muscle.

  • @Spiralworm its not possible to loose muscle to an extent. The muscle you have built will always remain muscle, but when you stop using it it just becomes weaker. When you start re-using that muscle it'll just activate again. The good thing about working so hard to build muscle is that its totally worth it for life! :D

  • I think this is so inspiring what you have done and I have so much respect for you putting yourself through this! Thank you!

  • you look pretty good by now..more or less like the average guy. what's your bodyfat at? I suppose around 25..

  • That is amazing!

  • Once you make it to your goal weight how will you maintain that weight? How will you prevent going well below your goal weight?

  • Fantastic! Go Drew!

  • You're looking great Drew! You'll be back to your old self before you know it.

  • SWEET HOME ALABAMA!!!
