yes, Björn and Benny used the live number 'I Am an A...' as a basis for several demos through the years. One of these work-in-progress songs were 'Free As A Bumble Bee' -but in the end it ended up as the verse of the Chess ballad 'I Know Him So Well'...
Omg-You're right... I'am an A I'm a B He is okay So is she Singing together in harmony Wasn't it good? Wasn't he fine? Isn't it madness He can't be mine?
ha, i was so surprised, but then again there a several bits and pieces of unreleased or even released song which were recycled in other tracks. For me most notably some harmonies of "I Let The Music Speak" can be found in Chess as well, can't remember the track but it could be "Mountain Duett", i m not sure...
In this case it's a proof that some ideas can remain in their head for many years. And out of this little vers comes a UK smash number 1.... they are so smart!
Brilliant ABBA performance with the song I'm An A. I like the way they pernounce there names by the word A B B A. Fanstatic, I never heard this song before as i live the uk and ABBA never sung this song in uk.
Wow! I was 4 when I went to this concert now 36 ha ha! I still remembering waiting anxiously for my Aunty to come pick me up in my brown safari suit with fake fur around the top, I still have it with smile face buttons whoo whoooo! my first concert what a treat! Do you remember the ABBA banner out the front after the concert that was all lit up? Or was I dreaming?????
ahhhh....it was soooo long ago, but I was at this concert in Perth at the Perth Entertainment Centre. I remember the stars on the back wall when they played fernando. Thanks for this group of sound bites that brought back fond memories.
It's only now, years later, that you realise how fantastic ABBA were. I wish I had seen their 1977 concert. I would like to know what happened to all the unused film clips that were not used in ABBA The Movie. Thanks for posting this.

this proves very delightful that though they did lipsync in most TV shows they could sing live as good as on record....

It's VERY good that you put this on here-even though the sound isn't too good, but the idea was GREAT!!!!
