Sakura Wars 4 is bad game arond Japanese gamers. But it has sold 320,000.

@doujindance Thats probably because many of the people who gave ST4 a bad score never played the previous ST games. ST is a series where you have to play each installment to understand the story and enjoy the game.

@doujindance Also ST4 won some Game of the Year awards and got nominated by many more gaming publications for Game of the Year. It sold very well because the previous installments got so many fans and as a result sold due to the Sakura Wars fandom.

@doujindance Sakura Wars 4 is intended as a closure to the series for fans not as a stand alone game. You have to be a fan of the entire serious to truly appreciate its merits.

@gamer4ever9999-Sakura Wars 4 was never released on PSP. However they did create a compilation of ST 1 and 2 on the PSP on one cartridge. Its quality of the graphics and sound not as good as the original Sega Saturn version but you get both games on one disc!

Don't worry,recent news revealed they will be release an English translation of Sakura Taisen 5(in North America)!If it sells enough in the US  we could expect an official English translation of ST4 in the US soon!
