@MrJLouis21 It'll be fine if you just put it on. But a trick I use to get it platinum is apply bleach, then rap a plastic bag around your hair, then wear a hat over that :)
i agree with xoLUVxoMYxoFIMOxo if you want to keep your hair healthy then use 20 or 30 (most likely 20, you can still turn your hair platinum blonde but you will have to do it is stages, it may take awhile but its worth it i would rather have a nice platinum colour with smooth soft healthy hair rather than nice coloured dry-as-a-bone, un healthy looks like its gunna fall out my head if i straightwn it or blow dry it once hair lol :P
@shellyeatzdinos well, it depends how long you leave it in for. To kindof help with the orangey brassy hues after bleaching, use and toner and/or purple conditioner or shampoo (can't remember) and it will help
okay i just did my roots but they came out like an orange yellow color but i was actually tryin to mach up wit the platnium hair i alreaady had i used the 30 devolper and wella powder lightner and t18 toner should i rew do it again using the same products to get it even with my platium har.plz help me
@xoLUVxoMYxoFIMOxo I agree the volume of developer you use wont change the color much and 40 volume deleloper is very very harsh on your hair, 30 vol will work just as well, and the color base in the toner that you use will determine the finished color.
i want like a really gold blondee and my hair is like orange lol since i used the one n' only colorfix from sallys soo i wanted too kno if i use salon care 20vol and quick white bleach powder from sallys will it turn a yellow gold blonde ? or after that do i use a toner ?
@kelly18ify If you want a really "gold" blonde color in your hair then you just need to buy hair dye, not bleach. If you continue to bleach your hair it will just turn out yellow, then if you tone it with a blue base it will turn out a pale yellow, if you tone it with a violet base it will turn your hair white. You may just want to find a blue toner, tone it to a pale yellow then dye it to the gold blonde you want.
never use 40 developer !!!!

30 developer works alot better n your hair wont fall off as much as if you use the 40
