  • There was a live version of this in the other side of 'mmmmmmmmm'

  • This song and Fraiser in the Due South clip goes together like peas in a pod

  • I have been looking for this song forever!!!! LOVE it! :)

  • Gorgeous DS vid! I love how you match the lyrics with the images...and I love Due South. Thank you kindly for creating and sharing this vid.

  • don't suppose anyone what episode 1:15 is thanks

  • @chipmunks700 "Dead Men Don't Throw Rice" from November 1998.

  • My friend Stephan Mitchell has a better rendition of this song. One that a bit faster pacing.

  • Wow, seeing Due South clips really takes me back. Thanks for the post, uploader.

  • DUE SOUTH RULES!!!!!!!!!! DIEFFENBAKER!

  • what a song..up there in my top 5 favourite songs ever

  • 11 Tarzan fans.

  • Still tugs at the heart...

  • Great song. Great great great. I like this one the best.

  • One of the few songs that really says something: we grow up believing there are heroes and protectors around us, but discover when we grow up that 'the world will never see' them. The Due South clips are a fine touch. Robinturner3, sorry to counter you, but during my last trip to England, I found women as unwilling to have men holding doors open for them as they have become in Canada. Or maybe they're all presciently waiting for Superman to reappear.

  • Due south forever!

  • @Dorvaldr hell yea!!

  • o my gosh. Due South is finally back on TV! On CMT and another channel. I'm so thankful. Although its starting to feel like a long time for a new tv series based on the mounties to premier.

  • @Maxmulham u can see it, or atleast i did, on Tvtropolis @ 10 in the morning.

  • my teacher got me into this song. Now I love it. It makes me want to cry sometimes now!

  • Loved the tv show DUE SOUTH and of course Paul Gross

  • yo the secretary at my school her daughter is in this band. iwas in grade 9 when this came out

  • i had to learn this song in school

  • Actually, "Superman's Song" is the real name of the song. It's track 3 on the album "The Ghosts That Haunt Me", released on April 5, 1991

  • Yah Superman's Song is the real name. I agree.

  • this song isnt really called "the superman song" it has a different name my brother found it out when he bought the cd he couldnt find it but he listened to it and found it by listening to it

  • Actually it is Superman's Song.

  • What a beautifull song and a wonderful video. I loved Due South.

I am English and i hold doors open for ladies, i think everyone should. If they all do that i Canada i am going to visit.

  • @robinturner3 Most of us do

  • @robinturner3 Yes, holding doors open for ladies; certainly. But just for ladies, not mere women; though I hold the door open behind me for anyone close to reaching it. But as one is not automatically a gentleman by virtue of being male, one is not automatically a lady by virtue of being female; it's a sexist, anti-male attitude to think otherwise. And to hell with misandry, and white-knighting, and being a chump. Chivalry is largely misplaced, nowadays, and as such, ought to die out, ASAP.

  • @robinturner3 you have one here who will :)

  • I sang this song in music..... this song is sooo low key!!

  • how can you sing that low!

  • one of the most unique bands to come out in a long time!chris from the psychedelic mooj, love you guys

  • Aw, Benton.

Just LOVED this series. It was so fun.

*is Canadian, and I open doors for ladies too*

  • Check out episode The Man Who Knew Too Little. One of the 3 bad guys is Turnball!

  • Paul Gross! I think Passchendaele will very much revitalise his carrier; I think we'll be seeing much more of him than we have the past few years...

  • my father showed me this video yesterday, i love it

  • utter utter class!

    shivers down my spine

  • This was such a good song for this series. Great video.

  • leslie neilsen was awesome in this show ... friggin ghost ... only paul could see

  • No Leslie Nielsen didn´t play the ghost :) That was George Pinsent :) But yes you are right, leslie nielsen was good in this show, on those few episodes where he turned up.

  • I think you mean Gordon Pinsent.

  • Hehe sorry, you are right :) i knew it was something with G :)

  • Get R Done

  • Why can't America create something wholesome like this? :-)

  • I'm sure some Americans have created something similar. It just never made it on the radio cause many did not care.

  • good song makes me thing of the girl who was

suffering anorexia bulmia the first world

disease how come people from the third world

    don,t suffer from this disease

  • They do suffer from then, and worse! They have bad social pressure aswell, much worse than us! In on country 98% of the women are circumsized, they dress in fur in the deserts just to prove they have money. People everywhere experience pressure!
