I reckon you dont have indepth knowledge of Pakistan. Swat was a modern state with Qur'an and Sunnah as the sources of law contrary to the state in which Socrates lived where the monarch was the sole source of law. Socrates fought for a fair democracy and resisted the oppressive monarchic laws. So, to say that the people of swat were slave is totally wrong. Taliban are nothing but few virtual creatures created by the government to stretch forth the 'begging arm' in the name of war on terror.

and let me tell you that the people of swat resisted a lot the spreading of the so called taliban but the army and the government nourished and protected them to get aid from the US.
