  • Is that hard to play? Nice mournful sound.. kinda like the Ocarina.

  • this is like some sad music...you should hear the one played the whole orchestra

  • I guess it's the instrument you play when you're not playing an instrument!!

Very moving.... Sound slike my cat crying:)

  • What kind of instrument is that?

  • It's a theremin, an electronic invented around 1920 by Leon Theremin (Lev Sergeivich Termen). It registers the proximity of your hand to the rod and the ring as changes in pitch/volume. You never touch it except to tune it!

  • Pretty cool

  • Yes! I like it!

  • PEEEP, strange thing PEEEEP

  • Beautiful sound, and fascinating instrument. And to top it off, a wonderful performance!

    - :) :) :) :) :) :) :)

  • Lovely! Very "French" rendition (shadows of Edith Piaf...?), nice handling of the triplets.

  • I've never heard of a theremin. Unusual...

  • Fantastic! Nicely done on those octave jumps! Thanks for a great performance.
