Actually in my country Bosnia, we have the sock remedy but we soak it in apple cider and water. Apple cider absorbs heat. So soak them in that and then place dry socks over the apple cider socks. Your feet smell bad but it is worth it. It is way faster than the water sock remedy

Don't lower your thermostat on the COOL setting, or raise the thermostat on the HEAT setting when you have a fever. It will actually increase the fever.

One thing this video fails to mention is that if you are trying to reduce a fever by peeling off clothes, just peel off enough so that you are not 'shivering'.. Shivering increases body temperature. (I am a nurse, and use the peeling back of covers and tepid clothes regularly).. and post-op, many surgeons wait until the temperature increases to variable degrees over 100 F before treating with medication. Great video!
