I think it was in too BUT if their is any doubt of the play they have to rule inconclusive. Obviously from one angle it appears it's over the line, the worst angle though. Overhead it's a different story. I think it was in but they couldn't prove it for sure to over rule it. NHL at it's finest.
edmonton is sick next year, horcoff, hemsky, eberly, schremp, taylor hall/ tyler seguin if they can get a good goalie like halak/ price there 1/2/3 material
I can't believe the Oilers waived him...such a good young offensive talent, but as an Islanders fan, I'm pretty happy about it. Maybe a change of scenery will put a jump in his step? We're having the same problem with Tamby.
that's why we got rid of u greene schrempy is sick, and with Quinn at the helm he'll get his shot hopefully the chart looks something like this: Nilsson Horcoff Hemsky O'Sullivan Gagner Pisani Pouliot Cogliano Schremp Penner Brule Moreau Souray Gilbert Visnovsky Grebeshkov Staios Strudwick Khabibulin Deslauriers it'd be nice to get rid of moreau's $2mil and use the $5mil left to sign either: Lang or Tanguay or a combo of 2 of Afinogenov/Comrie/Pyatt/Peca/Moore
Rob Schremp's shootout shot was exaggerated.. I heard he made moves all the way down the ice.. I was comparing that in my mind to Simon Gagne's kind of shootout goal, if any of you have seen it.
that was in! dont care what anyone says, i know it doesnt matter now but it was definitly in, way to go schremp!!! hopefully the oil can do somethin right this year and keep him up.
it was definitely in. the last angle they show, you can see the edge of the puck and how it was laying and if there was no glove, 100% chance of a goal. such bullshit!
@bellephly The full puck has to cross the line in order to be a goal. I can understand why they say theres not enough evidence here because theres not. The angle shown isnt enough to give it a goal. It could be 100% in and with the right angle we could maybe see that but rules are rules.
@bellephly can you see the entire puck across the line? No, its in his glove. Is his entire glove in the net? No, part of it stays on the line. Can you therefore make a surefire call and say its in the net? No, you can never be sure. Is it the right call? Yes
That was not in! The only part of his glove that was 100% over the line was the netting, and you can clearly see that the puck doesn't go in the netting. It always stays in the palm of the glove.

Is it legal for Schremp to do his weird lacrosse dekes in the NHL? Or would it be high sticking?
razorslice17 1 year ago
@razorslice17 High sticking is making contact with another player OR hitting the puck out of the air above your shoulder with your stick.

@bellephly but the rule is that if u cant say for sure that its a goal, its not a goal...cant complain because the rule goes against your team...

Props to Schremp though. He had a good game.
