Not better, different. The CVX uses the same motor structure as the L7 but because the round cone has less surface area and less cone mass, the motor has even greater control over the cone giving it greater transient response. For overall output, go square!

I was a little disappointed with that amp after too much looking over it an all I saw that it wasn't CEA certified and that it wouldn't put out a true 475 watts rms which I was expecting Soundstream to be able to do.

Well yea in your case it would be a good upgrade. That was just IMO, I would still like to see one of those in action to see what they can really do.
