I wonder why so many people make claims about such things when they have quite obviously never read from any form of scientific writings. Well, whether I believe that 911 was a conspiracy or not, this is not the point; I don't give a shit about YOUR government or MY government, but I do care about the environment. The fact is, global warming IS happening, and we have to do something - and it must be pretty hard for people out there to decide what is the best option - there is no 100% right or wrong option.

All the people who are wasting time over the debate wether GW is a hoax or not are certainly the consumers who can't get rid of the chain of economy. But the things won't go as straight as you hope to. world population is 6.6 billion. 1960 it was half. Pressure on earth is increasing proportionately. How abundant you think earth is. There are far more people with PHD´s who share Al Gores point of view (by the way: I never saw his movie). And the system I meant was our current economical system, based on fossile fuels, which is obsolete, because Climate Change IS happening and sooner or later it will cause serious problems for humanity (raising water levels, extinction of several species which are essential for food chain with humans at it´s end...). Who cares about rising taxiation in face of these things?

When i was at high school in the 1990s, I was taught global warming in science as if it were fact.
Luckily for me they hadn't invented it in the 1980s so in my early years they had to brainwash me about other things, like being scared of strangers.
But anyone who is 18 now has been taught global warming all their lives and i know it is hard to break out of that level of brainwashing.

Dookie, I never said there isn't climate change, the idea that Man/Co2 is causing it is laughable. I am not going to sit here and argue 10 grade Bio but If you think that your breath is evil there is nothing I can say. The emails that are confirmed by the source not only show that this is a massive scam but that criminal wrong doing was done. Ask yourself what is the point of a massive tax? Is this going to help stop the evil Co2? No, this is being done to set up global gov. plain and simple.

Bigfish, perhaps you should retake 10 grade Bio. People do exhale CO2, which plants absorb, but that doesn't mean that CO2 is healthy to people. Try putting a plastic bag over, you won't die of lack of air, you'll die of CO2 poisoning.

I agree. The problem with the CO2 and Clmate Change scam is that it does not help the environment.
Carbon credits trading doesn't reduce pollution--it merely allows the wealthy to pollute as much as they like.

Part 2.. they say to just keep on going!! the flooding that occurred in many areas of Ireland are still not receeding and are in fact rising. there is a need for some form of commited action to help adapt to these changes!!
If people cant see these changes occuring then the must be blind or spending too much time on youtube.
I hope there is some form of committment at COP 15, and if there isnt, i do believe ppl will get a little ticked off at governments!!

I have been seein so many people spamming on pro cop 15 pages the last few weeks about how its government green wash and vested interest blah blah.. But the thing is that most of them are from developed countries, I have friends on the ground at cop 15 from many different countries who are seeing the effects of climate change and require ppl of the developed workd to listen to them!!
Most proposers of this climate gate theory dont have a blue print of how we should proceed...Part 1!!
