Zul'Jin is a good guy actually, in this story, Horde/Alliance are the bad guys. The blood elves were with the Alliance. They invaded the land of the Forest Trolls. Zul'Jin and the rest of the forest trolls joined and helped the Horde because they were killing the elves. Then they found out the blood elves joined the ranks of the Horde. Zul'Jin turned on the Horde because of this.
No, if you played the Warcraft 3: The Frozen Throne Human campaign you would realize that they only started calling themselves the blood elves after Arthas destroyed Silvermoon. In Warcraft 2 times (which is when Zul'jin was introduced) there were only high elves (or elves as they were known at the time).
@thekkl Actually he destroyed Quel'Danas but you were half right about silvermoon, the dead scar ppl destroyed half of it, but now the sunwells fucked and all, and they get really really pissed of and they join the horde.
