Being that I was in the band back in the 90's WCHS displayed talent and charisma.. Those times are not seen anymore, I would love to see this band grow to the place we use to be... We need more motivators in that town..

music is not about who can play the loudest. You have one trombone who just blast the entire time and it doesn't sound good honestly. Music is louder if you play in tune with a good tone. For example FAMU is always louder than JSU because FAMU has musicians who play in tune with a good tone and it sounds like one where JSU just lets everyone play as loud as they can.
Well, I suppose it takes SOME kind of talent to blast through your trombone.... I'm teaching a flute player how to play trombone and she can barely make a sound...
But I'm sure it's not because she is incapable. For a flute player. Brass instruments are horrible for their embouchures especially trumpet. But it take just as much breath support to play flute as it does tuba. So she has the breath support I'm sure it was that it takes completely different muscles to make a good flute aperture than a good buzzing aperture.
So what you are telling me is you are just assuming i'm old because I don't understand why this is called talent? I got news for you, I'm young. Maybe I should ask a better question then, what do people get out of listening to this?
Will somebody please tell me how in the world this can be called talent? Watching somebody bend down and shake their behind is called dancing now. And listening to somebody blow their brains out on an instrument, probably dont have a clue what the word intonation means. Why is this even called talent?
