Does tross rod adjsutment have anything to do with effecting your tuning?... i noticed my strings are tuned perfectly at open notes, but when i play them on the fret board, certain notes below the 12th fret are showing up slightly sharper than they should be.... does this have to do with how my neck is angled and i need i trust rod adjustment? i have a squier classic vibe 50's stratocaster and ive had it for 3 months and recently switched from 9 gauge to 10.
@Homebrand1000 i know hot to that but ive heard that since my guitar is made in china, that sometimes the chinese dont make he fret wire right and they come out higher or lower than their sapose to be and thats what throws off the intonation like that.
@88lopez4music If you changed the gauge of the strings but still uses the same tuning the string tension will be much stronger so you have to adjust the truss rod everytime you make that kind of change or else your neck will bow forward (that happened with me once and also caused the intonations problems as well)
i got an epiphone les paul standard plus top and i got a problem... my high frets make the notes muted, so i dont hear them well, and when i strum on the high notes there is a buzz .. do i have to tighten the rod or loosen it? thanks in advance for the reply !
Very good video. You mention important points which are overlooked in most trussrod adjustment tutorials. The devils in the details after all. Cheers.

@88lopez4music That's what he means when you need to 'intonate' the strings. Just look up how to do it in youtube or google
